What do we mean by "freedom" when it comes to rigging? Does it mean that you have plenty of real-estate on the camera for attaching accessories? Is it having a range of options for where you mount the camera itself? Or could it simply be that the entire camera cage is easy to use? With our new and improved Sony VENICE 1 & 2 Expert Cine Kit, we chose all three.

No Compromise
When your shot list is lengthy but your time is limited, the VENICE Expert Cine Kit is capable of quickly shifting from setup to setup. The included Universal BUD Plate serves as the base mount: sliding on and off any of ARRI's Balanced Utility Dovetails (BUD). For quick adjustments on the fly or transitioning to shoulder rigs or other surfaces, the BUD system is the ultimate solution.

Rod Ready
But if you need more structured support for your setup, you can use the additional mounting options to set your VENICE to new heights. With both a 15mm LWS Baseplate and a 19mm Studio Bridgeplate, you can give yourself support for heavier lenses, matte boxes and more. The three mounting options can be used piecemeal or can stack on top of one another to reach the correct support standard.

Clean Customization
Our redesigned cage for the VENICE maximizes rigging options whilst minimizing its footprint. The new Side Plates design feature integrated NATO rails and ARRI rosettes; as well as the standard suite of 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads. Each accessory mount comes with built-in safety features, such as an easy-press catch or locating pin threads, to ensure all accessories are kept safe.

Using a 3-axis adjustment system, you can smoothly adjust the position of your viewfinder - even one-handed. Easily Handled
For carrying your camera around, our D-Style Master Handle gives you a convenient carry point. The rubber inlay in the grip keeps your hand comfortable even on long hauls between setups, and the handle features its own array of accessory mounting options and optional Handle Extensions.

The Sony VENICE 1 & 2 Cine Kit is designed to fit the Sony VENICE 1 and Sony VENICE 2 series of cameras: with the shape and size of the cage mounting to dedicated screw threads.

Experience clean rigging at the highest level with our Sliding Top Plate for the Sony VENICE and Sony VENICE 2. Coming in two core components - a dovetail plate and a lever-operated mounting core - both are covered in 1/4" and 3/8" for easy rigging of any accessories. Also including a 15mm Front Rod Console, the Sliding Top Plate is ideal for setting up your VENICE for even the most complex shots.

Save time adjusting your EVF position with the Axl EVF mount. The single locking screw gives you fast and easy adjustment of your EVF with one hand.

This Axl EVF mount is compatible with the ARRI MVF-1, MVF-2, EVF-1 & EVF-2 and provides an alternative mount to the ARRI MVB-1. The Axl has been designed and built in the UK to meet the demands of professional filmmakers. It not only keeps your EVF safer and more secure, but it's also designed to eliminate all the frustration of fiddling and fumbling with multiple screws and knobs, which can take up valuable time on your shoot.

This adapter lets you use the Sony DVF-EL200 Viewfinder with the Axl EVF mount. This adapter attaches to the dovetail on the Sony DVF-EL200 for use with the Axl EVF mount on the Sony VENICE, F5, F55 & F65.

Forming a rigid cage around the camera with our Universal BUD Plate and dedicated Top Plate, our Sony VENICE 1 & 2 Right and Left Side Plate is designed to offer cleaner rigging options for your cinema setup. Featuring a range of accessory mounting points including an ARRI rosette, full-length NATO rail and an array of 1/4" and 3/8" anti-twist points; the Right and Left Side Plate is ideal for complex rigging.
