Our Left Side Plate offers a range of mounting options for Sony shooters. The plate features an array of 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads, with locating pin holes to help secure accessories in place. There are also MAP M4 points bordering the Side Plate and on the top (though these aren't at the standard 20mm vertical distance). For vertical shooting, a row of screw threads are aligned with the VENICE Extension's sensor, for convenient content creation. There is also a film plane hook on the top of the Side Plate.

The Left Side Plate installs simply via two 1/4" screws. All it takes is a few turns of a 4mm Hex Key to get your VENICE Extension ready for rigging. The screws are captive, meaning that they won't be lost in between shoot days and won't be confused with mounting points for accessories.
