With the Right Side Plate for Sony VENICE Extension System Mini, you can set your VENICE Extension up perfectly for filmmaking. Mount additional components from the range of 1/4", 3/8" or MAP M4 points on the Side Plate, or use it as a base for vertical filmmaking. With a low-profile and lightweight design, the Right Side Plate is the perfect companion for Sony shooters.

Customize with Ease
Our Right Side Plate offers a range of mounting options for Sony shooters. The plate features an array of 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads, with locating pin holes to help secure accessories in place. There are also MAP M4 points bordering the Side Plate and on the top (though these aren't at the standard 20mm vertical distance). For vertical shooting, a row of screw threads are aligned with the VENICE Extension's sensor, for convenient content creation. There is also a film plane hook on the top of the Side Plate.

The Right Side Plate installs simply via two 1/4" screws. All it takes is a few turns of a 4mm Hex Key to get your VENICE Extension ready for rigging. The screws are captive, meaning that they won't be lost in between shoot days and won't be confused with mounting points for accessories.
