Where the Universal Dovetail adds freedom of placement for your camera, our C80 Top Plate offers freedom for what you place on the camera. The Top Plate provides a canvas for customization with 1/4" and 3/8" anti-twist points; as well as MAP M4 points, a Cold Shoe mount, QD sockets and 15mm rod support. Securely mounted from three points, the Top Plate is a firm foundation for rigging.

Full Functionality
With the Create Canon C80 Base Kit, we've worked to keep full access to the stock C80's features. With our Top Plate covering the intended C80 top handle slot, the included NATO Mount repurposes the top handle for use on a NATO rail, so you can quickly install or adjust your handle on the move. We've also offered alternate placements for the C80's film plane hook and microphone shockmount - meaning you don't have to choose between freedom and function.

Compatibility
The Create Canon C80 Base Kit is compatible with the Canon C80, with a purpose-built Top Plate and NATO Mount for the stock C80 top handle. The Universal Dovetail, however, is compatible with a range of other cameras and can be repurposed. The Dovetail is also compatible with Manfrotto 501PL heads and DJI RS 4 gimbal plates, making it compatible with most industry-standard mounting points.

The NATO Mount for Canon C80 Top Handle adds a quick-release NATO clamp to your Canon C80 Top Handle, which allows you to position it on any NATO rail.

Using the stock Top Handle's screw, the NATO Mount is lightweight and discreet while offering increased functionality for your C80 setup.

NATO Freedom
NATO rails offer freedom of positioning on a two-dimensional plane: sliding forwards-backwards or left-to-right before being locked in place. With our NATO Mount, that freedom extends to your Top Handle. Combine the NATO Mount with our dedicated C80 Top Plate, for freedom of positioning on the left-to-right axis to find the right balance.

The NATO Mount will make a soft "click" when centered, making it easy to know when your setup is balanced.

The Canon C80 Top Plate adds a range of accessory mounting options to your camera. A three-point mounting system secures the Top Plate in place, and the plate provides a range of accessory mounting options without obstructing the C80's native inputs.

Featuring an integrated NATO rail as well as a dedicated mount for the Canon C80 Side Rib, the Canon C80 Top Plate can be used standalone or as part of a complete cage.

Locked In
The C80 Top Plate attaches to your camera at three points for added security. Alongside the central flathead screw, there are two screws - marked by padlocks - that help keep your Top Plate firmly in place. Though one of them does slot into the C80's Film Plane Hook, we've got a dedicated slot on the Top Plate itself that means you can still use it for precise measurements.

In-Depth Customization
But a Top Plate on its own isn't very useful: it's what you add to the top plate that matters. For that, our C80 Top Plate comes jam-packed with accessory mounts. Alongside 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads, there are also MAP M4 and QD sockets - and a Cold Shoe mount for microphones or other accessories.

The bar across the front of the Top Plate has an integrated NATO rail, and the front has a 15mm rod console. There are also dedicated mounts for the microphone shockmount and for attaching the Canon C80 Side Rib.

The C80 Top Plate has been designed to perfectly complement the Canon C80's small footprint. It provides a flat and spacious plane for customization whilst maintaining the core C80 shape and minimizing bulk. The integrated NATO rail provides tactile feedback for centrally-aligned accessories, such as the Short Create Top Handle (NATO).

- Manfrotto & DJI RS 4 Universal Dovetail -
The Universal Dovetail for Manfrotto and DJI RS 4 provides a mount for Manfrotto 5 Series and DJI RS 4 plates - able to mount to either safety standard. It also provides an optional 15mm rod bracket at the front.

The Dovetail has both a 1/4" 3/8" screws for compatibility with any camera.

Cross-Compatible Dovetail
A frustrating feature for many filmmakers has been the slight differences between Manfrotto and DJI plate standards. With our new Universal Dovetail, you can use the same mount for DJI RS 4 gimbals and Manfrotto 5 Series tripods with ease. The spring-loaded gear rack for DJI gimbals makes it easy to mount to compatible gimbals, and a safety stop ensures that the dovetail
