The kit comes with everything you need to setup the camera, with 15mm LWS support on ARRI standard dovetails. The LeftField 3 quick-release Baseplate plates means that you can easily swap your camera from different mounting points in moments, allowing you to seamlessly transition from tripod to handheld.

15mm Rod Support

The LeftField 3 Canon C400 Base Kit is designed to be used with the Canon C400 and LeftField 3 Universal system, but many of the accessories are not camera-specific. The 6" Create Dovetail, NATO Cheese Stick and Cheese Plate Adapter can be used with other camera systems.

- Top Plate MK II -
The Canon C400 Top Plate Mk II adds new accessory mounting points to the top of the C400; including 1/4", 3/8", MAP M4 and QD sockets.

Consisting of three modules that can be used individually or together, the Top Plate allows you to build on your rig without covering up core C400 features - maintaining full access.

New and improved: the Canon C400 Top Plate Mk II brings quality-of-life changes to our bestselling Canon C400 Top Plate. It features a range of accessory mounting options: 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads as well as QD sockets, MAP M4 points and a 15mm rod console across three modular plates.

- Top Handle Cheese Plate -
The Top Handle Cheese Plate expands the rigging capabilities for the Canon C400 whilst maintaining a small footprint. Mounting directly to the stock C400 top handle, the plate features 1/4" and 3/8" threads for accessory mounting, as well as a 15mm rod bracket for a single forward-facing rod.

Lightweight and minimal, this cheese plate is a simple mounting solution for C400 shooters.

Rig accessories to your Canon C400 setup with this top handle cheese plate while staying low profile. Mounting to the side of the stock C400 top handle, this plate provides additional mounting options for your camera without taking up too much real-estate on the body.

1/4" and 3/8" threads line the plate, for easy mounting of camera accessories. A 15mm rod bracket on the front, provides you with even more options - allowing you to mount lens motors, monitor mounts or any other accessory using 15mm rods such as our Drumstix range.

- Top Handle Extension -
The C400 Top Handle Extension provides further versatility in your C400 setup: extending the stock C400 top handle whilst adding support for additional accessories. Mounting to the rear of the top handle, the extension provides a range of anti-twist 1/4" and 3/8" threads.

The top handle extension has full compatibility with our Master Handle Extensions.

Expand the possibilities of your C400 with this top handle extension module. Designed to smoothly mount to the rear of the stock C400 top handle, this lightweight extension piece provides a range of 1/4" and 3/8" mounting threads for customizing your C400 setup.

The rear of the extension has 3/8" and MAP M4 threads with anti-twist, which grants full compatibility to further lengthen the top handle with our range of Master Handle Extensions.
