Bright Tangerine Top Plate for Canon C80 Camera

The Canon C80 Top Plate adds a range of accessory mounting options to your camera. A three-point mounting system secures the Top Plate in place, and the plate provides a range of accessory mounting options without obstructing the C80's native inputs. Featuring an integrated NATO rail as well as a dedicated mount for the Canon C80 Side Rib, the Canon C80 Top Plate can be used standalone or as part of a complete cage.

Locked In
The C80 Top Plate attaches to your camera at three points for added security. Alongside the central flathead screw, there are two screws - marked by padlocks - that help keep your Top Plate firmly in place. Though one of them does slot into the C80's Film Plane Hook, we've got a dedicated slot on the Top Plate itself that means you can still use it for precise measurements.

In-Depth Customization
But a Top Plate on its own isn't very useful: it's what you add to the top plate that matters. For that, our C80 Top Plate comes jam-packed with accessory mounts. Alongside 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads, there are also MAP M4 and QD sockets - and a Cold Shoe mount for microphones or other accessories.

The bar across the front of the Top Plate has an integrated NATO rail, and the front has a 15mm rod console. There are also dedicated mounts for the microphone shockmount and for attaching the Canon C80 Side Rib.

The C80 Top Plate has been designed to perfectly complement the Canon C80's small footprint. It provides a flat and spacious plane for customization whilst maintaining the core C80 shape and minimizing bulk. The integrated NATO rail provides tactile feedback for centrally-aligned accessories, such as the Short Create Top Handle (NATO).

The Canon C80 Top Plate is made from anodized aluminum. This provides a great balance of strength and weight, making it resistant to wear and tear without adding too much heft to your camera setup.
