Bright Tangerine Riser for LeftField Mini 15mm Baseplate and Canon C70/C80 Camera, Black

The Canon C70 and C80 Riser for LeftField Mini sets the camera to the correct height for the 15mm LWS rod standard on the LeftField Mini Baseplate.

Mounting via four M4 screws, the Riser features a captive 1/4" and 3/8" screw making it compatible with both the Canon C70 and the C80.

Take your setup to new heights with this dedicated Riser for the Canon C70 and C80: setting them to the 15mm LWS standard height when paired with our LeftField Mini Baseplate. Cross-compatible with both Canon cinema cameras, the Riser is the perfect solution for clean rigging and installs easily via a handful of M4 screws.

15mm LWS Standard
When mounted to the LeftField Mini Baseplate, this Riser sets your C70 or C80 camera to the correct height for the 15mm LWS rod standard: elevating the optical center of the camera. Paired with the Baseplate's 15mm rod brackets, you can quickly create a comprehensive rig for your compact Canon camera: with matte box mounting, follow-focus wheels or handgrips.

For C70 or C80 Rigs
Though they are similar, the C70 and C80 have some minor differences that can cause compatibility issues. We've worked to remedy that: with a Riser designed to accommodate either camera. The Riser features both a 3/8" and a 1/4" screw, both of which slide in the central channel, to accommodate both camera bodies. To help compensate for the C70's single-screw mounting - which can lead to the camera getting twisted on standard mounts - the Riser comes with a front lip that helps keep the camera facing forward.

The C70 and C80 Riser also helps you construct a clean camera rig, offering a compatible mount for the C80 Side Rib or the C70 Side Plate. This means that you can create a rigid camera cage with minimal strain on the camera body itself - improving the longevity of your setup.
