When you want to move back to static shooting, you can mount the entire setup via the Create Shoulder Rig's integrated VCT-14 tripod mount.

The Advanced Documentary Kit features our Create Top Handle, which mounts seamlessly to the PYXIS' Top Plate for convenience and comfort. Ideal for carrying your camera, or shooting handheld, the Top Handle can be fitted with accessories via its own range of accessory mounts, or built up with our range of Master Handle Extensions.

Deep Customization
For actually building out your Blackmagic body, the Advanced Documentary Kit features a range of accessory mounting points. The dedicated Top Plate and Cheese Plate each feature an array of 1/4" and 3/8" anti-twist mounting threads; along with MAP M4 points, QD sockets and an ARRI rosette. There is also an added 15mm Rod Console for adding lens motors or EVFs, and the Cheese Plate doubles as a vertical adapter - in case you were wanting to post some footage to your social channels.

Compatibility
The Advanced Documentary Kit for Blackmagic PYXIS is designed to be compatible with the Blackmagic PYXIS - both 6K and 12K variations. The dedicated Top Plate and Cheese Plate are specifically designed with the camera in mind, but all other components are universal and can be recycled for use in other camera builds.

- 1/4"-20 Create Top Handle -
The Create Top Handle is a convenient addition to any camera. Mounted via two captive 1/4"-20 screws - spaced 50mm apart - the top handle can be installed onto a range of camera top plates.

With a rubber handgrip for comfort and ARRI-standard threads lining the handle itself (as well as a cold shoe mount), this top handle is a versatile and convenient addition to your rig.

Part of our Create range, this Top Handle provides nearly limitless customization options for almost any camera body. Installed via two captive screws, the top handle is an easy addition to your rig: providing a stable option for both rigging and transportation.

From there, you can build out the handle itself with extensions. Add a monitor mount using the cold shoe, or use the 1/4" and 3/8" holes to add further accessories to the top of your camera.

Made from anodized aluminum with a rubber inlay on the grip, this top handle is a comfortable and convenient accessory for camera builds of any complexity.

Cold Shoe Mount
Alongside screw-in threads, the top handle also provides a cold shoe - ideal for supporting monitor swivel mounts, microphones or wireless receivers.

The PYXIS Top Plate offers a range of options for refining your rig. From industry-standard 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads to more specific options such as MAP M4 or QD socket mounts. Each features the relevant locating pins for secure attachment, and are arranged in the ARRI pin-lock standard array. There are also dedicated 1/4"-20 mounting points for Top Handles, optimized for balance, as well as along the sides for attaching side plates or Cheese Plates.

- Universal Dovetail -
The Universal Dovetail for Manfrotto and DJI RS 4 provides a mount for Manfrotto 5 Series and DJI RS 4 plates - able to mount to either safety standard. It also provides an optional 15mm rod bracket at the front.

The Dovetail has both a 1/4" and 3/8" screws for compatibility with any camera.

- Cheese Plate -
The Blackmagic PYXIS Cheese Plate gives you expanded customization options for your PYXIS. Along with standard-issue 1/4" and 3/8" threads, the Cheese Plate features MAP M4 points and an ARRI rosette for handgrips.

The Cheese Plate can also be used to mount the PYXIS vertically for vertical shooting.

- Create Shoulder Rig (VCT-14) -

Seamless Shoulder Shooting
The Create Shoulder Rig allows you to cleanly and quickly transition your whole rig from setup to setup. The top of the rig fits any Manfrotto, DJI or Arca standard plate, with safety stops to ensure the camera doesn't come loose unintentionally. The entire shoulder rig can also be quickly mounted to VCT-14 tripods, allowing you to set your rig down before you set it up.

Universal Shoulder Rig
The Create Shoulder Rig's multi-dovetail design means that you can mount any camera system to the rig, for easy shooting. The central channel of the shoulder rig offers up to 200mm of sliding travel depending on the dovetail plate used (so long as it maintains contact with the clamp mechanism). For full rigs or minimal setups, the Create Shoulder Rig is always action-ready.

Adjustable Shoulder Pad
The Create Shoulder Rig features an EVA foam pad with a rubber coating, for a combination of flexibility and rigidity - ideal for shoulder rigs. There are magnets built into the indented circles on the pad's top, which align to the magnets on the Create Shoulder Rig's base and give you four distinct positions for the pad. This helps you optimally balance your rig, no matter how big or small.
