Our Expert Kit for Blackmagic PYXIS is the ultimate cage for Blackmagic shooters. This high-quality accessory bundle has been carefully designed to reduce downtime and stress, with broad compatibility and quick-release capabilities to help transition your PYXIS from setup to setup.

Fully modular, the Expert Kit can be used for any shooting scenario: from complex cine setups to run-and-gun rigs.

Dual Dovetails
Depending on the needs of your shoot, our Expert Kit offers two options for quickly releasing your setup. The Leftfield Mini baseplate offers a stable rod mount, with our patented Open UP system allowing you to lift your entire rig off from any ARRI standard dovetail. The Universal Dovetail, meanwhile, mounts to the top of the LeftField Mini: for quick swapping from Manfrotto tripods, DJI gimbals or third-party mounts using the same standard.

Monitor Mounting
The Expert Kit also contains all the components of our Monitor Mount Kit, for simple mounting of external monitors to your setup. A handy alternative to the stock PYXIS EVF, the uniquely versatile Universal Monitor Hinge can easily be mounted to any NATO rail - including the rod-mounted option included here - for easy reviewing of footage.

Advanced Rigging
Of course, the camera is just the canvas: depending on what your shoot requires, you'll be decorating the PYXIS with a range of potential accessories. The Advanced Cine Kit helps you fulfil that potential with the PYXIS. With our dedicated PYXIS Top Plate, you have a range of accessory mounting points from 1/4" and 3/8" anti-twist threads to MAP M4 points and QD sockets.

A Handy Setup
If static shots aren't what the project calls for, you can smoothly capture handheld footage with your choice of handheld options. On top of being lightweight, the Expert Kit also includes an ARRI rosette on the Cheese Plate for compatible side handles, and a D-Style Master Handle on top. This comfortable and extendable handle has a rubber inlay on the grip, to avoid strain on your hand during protracted shooting sessions.

Compatibility
The Expert Kit for Blackmagic PYXIS is designed to maximize the compatibility of the Blackmagic PYXIS with industry-standard systems and components. It features a baseplate and Riser that set the camera to the correct height for DJI gimbals, and a Universal Dovetail that offers quick-release compatibility with Manfrotto tripods and DJI gimbals.

Note: The Expert Kit does not set the PYXIS to the 15mm LWS standard height on the LeftField Mini baseplate. For that you will require the separate LeftField Mini Standard Riser (62.5mm)

Complete Convenience
The Monitor Mount Kit collects four individual components that when combined create a fully-articulating monitor mount option for any camera. Our Universal Monitor Hinge adds pan-and-tilt functionality for the monitor itself, whilst mounting to a 15mm NATO Rail for 140mm of sliding travel. That in turn mounts to our Top Bar Bracket and 15mm Rod Mount, for extra freedom. These multiple planes of movement mean that you are guaranteed to find the perfect position for your monitor.

- Universal Dovetail -
The Universal Dovetail for Manfrotto and DJI RS 4 provides a mount for Manfrotto 5 Series and DJI RS 4 plates - able to mount to either safety standard. It also provides an optional 15mm rod bracket at the front.

The Dovetail has both a 1/4" and 3/8" screws for compatibility with any camera.

- DJI Riser Mount -
The DJI Riser Mount for LeftField Mini helps set your camera to the correct height for DJI dovetails. Coming in three components, the Riser mounts to the LeftField Mini Baseplate with a built-in safety catch for securing or releasing the dovetail.

The Riser is compatible with Canon's C70, C80, C200, C300 Mk III, C400, C500 Mk II and C700 cameras and Blackmagic Design's PYXIS.

- LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate -
At 60% of the length of the standard LeftField 3 Baseplate, the LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate is a compact baseplate for smaller cameras. The LeftField Mini offers a compact alternative to full-size LeftField 3 Baseplates, using our Open UP system for convenient quick-release.

The LeftField Mini Baseplate is near-universally compatible when paired with a compatible Riser.

As cameras get smaller, so do their baseplates. With the LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate, you can downsize your setup whilst still maintaining our ultra-convenient Open UP quick-release system. At 60mm in length - compared to the standard LeftField 3's 100mm - the LeftField Mini Baseplate is ideal for compact rigs, and can be fitted with a huge range of Risers for different camera systems.

- ARRI Standard Dovetail -
The Create ARRI Standard Dovetail (6") is a compact, lightweight, and durable mounting solution designed for filmmakers and broadcasters who need precise balance and reliable integration with ARRI-standard equipment.

The Bar Bracket Spacer adds 15mm of distance between the Top Bar Bracket & Rod Mount for compatible accessories. The added clearance gives more room for Top Handles or rods, for minimal discomfort while shooting.
