Seamless Shooting

It features dual compatibility with both Manfrotto tripods and DJI gimbals - even featuring a spring-loaded gear rack for balancing on gimbals - which means that you can switch setups in seconds.

Top Performance
Meanwhile, the dedicated Top Plate provides you with a vast range of rigging options, to help make the most of your URSA Cine. The Top Plate has an array of 1/4", 3/8", MAP M4 points and QD sockets - along with an optional 15mm Rod Console for top-mounted support rods. You can also give yourself a slightly bigger canvas with the Top Plate Extension, that can be fixed to either side of the URSA Cine.

Hot to Handle
Even with the Top Plate installed, the URSA Cine's ventilation is still free, for consistent airflow and heat dispersion. So for handheld or low-angle shots, you can easily shoot with the included 1/4"-20 Top Handle. Extendable via our range of Master Handle Extensions, you can get creative with your setup whilst always having comfort and convenience.

Rod Rigging
The Base Kit also features a pair of our extendable Drumstix support rods, which can be fitted to the Universal Dovetail via the dedicated Rod Bracket. At the 15mm LWS standard width, they give you the option to mount a range of accessories such as lens supports and follow-focus wheels to your setup.

Compatibility
The Base Kit for Blackmagic URSA Cine is designed to work with the URSA Cine specifically, with a dedicated Top Plate designed to complement the camera's size. The remaining components, however, are designed to be universal: compatible with any other camera build.


- 1/4"-20 Create Top Handle Mk II -
The Create Top Handle is a convenient addition to any camera. Mounted via two captive 1/4"-20 screws - spaced 50mm apart - the top handle can be installed onto a range of camera top plates. With a rubber handgrip for comfort and ARRI-standard threads lining the handle itself (as well as a cold shoe mount), this top handle is a versatile and convenient addition to your rig.

Part of our Create range, this Top Handle provides nearly limitless customization options for almost any camera body. Installed via two captive screws, the top handle is an easy addition to your rig: providing a stable option for both rigging and transportation.

From there, you can build out the handle itself with extensions. Add a monitor mount using the cold shoe, or use the 1/4" and 3/8" holes to add further accessories to the top of your camera.

Made from anodized aluminum with a rubber inlay on the grip, this top handle is a comfortable and convenient accessory for camera builds of any complexity.

Cold Shoe Mount
Alongside screw-in threads, the top handle also provides a cold shoe - ideal for supporting monitor swivel mounts, microphones or wireless receivers.

Highly Customizable
With MAP M4 points as well as the 1/4" and 3/8" anti-twist threads, this top handle provides huge scope for configuring your camera rig. There is also a mounting point on the base of the top handle for additional accessories such as our Top Bar Bracket.

With an array of 1/4", 3/8" and MAP M4 points - along with an optional 15mm rod console and extension piece. Mounting cleanly to the URSA Cine via three captive screws, the Top Plate is an essential choice for Blackmagic shooters.

Turn your Blackmagic URSA Cine into a production powerhouse with our lightweight yet highly versatile Blackmagic URSA Cine Top Plate. Cross-Compatible Dovetail
A frustrating feature for many filmmakers has been the slight differences between Manfrotto and DJI plate standards. With our new Universal Dovetail, you can use the same mount for DJI RS 4 gimbals and Manfrotto 5 Series tripods with ease.
