Bright Tangerine Cheese Plate for Blackmagic Design PYXIS Camera

The Blackmagic PYXIS Cheese Plate gives you expanded customization options for your PYXIS. Along with standard-issue 1/4" and 3/8" threads, the Cheese Plate features MAP M4 points and an ARRI rosette for handgrips. The Cheese Plate can also be used to mount the PYXIS vertically for vertical shooting.

The Blackmagic PYXIS Cheese Plate offers a huge range of customization options for your Blackmagic camera. Mounting to the same threads as the stock PYXIS side plates, the Cheese Plate gives you a range of 1/4", 3/8" and MAP M4 points - without ruining the PYXIS's form factor. There's also an ARRI rosette mount for Hand Grips, and you can use the Cheese Plate to shoot vertically thanks to the centrally-aligned thread channel. Lightweight and durable, you'll barely notice this Cheese Plate on your PYXIS.

Customize without Compromise
The Cheese Plate replaces the stock right side plates on the Blackmagic PYXIS, and adds a range of accessory mounts as alternatives. Alternating 1/4" and 3/8" threads take up the majority of the Cheese Plate - each with locating pins to help secure accessories in place - whilst the sides are bordered with MAP M4 points for alternative accessories.

Get a Grip
For mounting Side Handles or Hand Grips - like those in our KASBAH range - the Cheese Plate features an ARRI rosette. Ideally placed for handles, the rosette sits snugly on the Cheese Plate body to avoid excessive bulk. Made from CNC-cut stainless steel, the rosette is resistant to the wear-and-tear of constant use.

Vertical Shooting Made Easy
Want to flip your PYXIS for social media? The Cheese Plate provides a line of screw threads aligned with the camera's optical center, allowing you to easily slot the PYXIS vertically onto tripod or gimbal plates. To reach the 15mm LWS standard height whilst shooting vertically; combine the Cheese Plate with our Universal Dovetail, DJI Receiver and LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate.

Aside from the stainless steel rosette, the rest of the Cheese Plate is made from our signature anodized aluminum, which boast aerospace-grade lightness and durability. Resistant to wear and corrosion, the Cheese Plate is an effortless addition to your camera rig.

Compatibility
The Blackmagic PYXIS Cheese Plate is compatible with both the 12K and 6K variants of the Blackmagic PYXIS. You will need to remove any existing side plates in order to correctly install it. The array of 1/4", 3/8", MAP M4 and ARRI rosette mounting points add compatibility with a host of accessories; such as wireless transmitters, hand grips and even baseplates for vertical shooting.
