Made from lightweight and durable aluminum, the Front Rod console is a low-profile addition to Blackmagic builds.

Get ready for rigging with our 15mm Front Rod Console, designed to mount seamlessly to the Blackmagic PYXIS. Featuring two independently-locked 15mm rod brackets, as well as a line of MAP M4 points, the Front Rod Console is a clean and convenient option for your rig.

15mm Rods Ready
The 15mm Front Rod Console adds dual 15mm support rod brackets to the front of your PYXIS. Each clamp can be individually tightened or loosened, for flexibility and freedom when shooting. For larger lenses, you can flip the Rod Console to gain extra clearance from the PYXIS lens mount.

The 15mm Front Rod Console is designed and built to our signature high quality standard. Made from aerospace-grade aluminum - which is hard-anodized for extra durability - the Rod Console is resistant to all the standard wear-and-tear or corrosion that your film set will throw at it.

Compatibility
The 15mm Front Rod Console is designed to work with the Blackmagic PYXIS camera body - both 6K and 12K variations. It requires our dedicated Top Plate in order to correctly mount, and can be inverted for compatibility with larger lenses.

Note: Rods cannot pass through the Rod Console as they will collide with the Top Plate. Rods are also not to the 15mm LWS height standard from the PYXIS' optical center, even with the console inverted.
