Jay J : is it compatible with canon R lens?CHARLES W M : Yes, I agree with the answer that Paul H. previously provided.DANIEL G : Yes it is for most lenses. However, in order to be able to screw in the filter on to the lens, the diameter of the filter must match the diameter of the lens. As lenses vary in diameter, one way to deal with this is to get the filter in the diameter of your largest lens (77mm or maybe 82mm). Then for the lenses of smaller diameter you would need to purchase a step-up ring from the smaller the smaller diameter of the lens to the larger diameter of the filter. For example, if you lens has a 52mm diameter and the filter has 77mm, you would need a 52 to 77mm step up ring. Note the partial yes. Some lenses may have a very large diameter (over 82mm) or may have bulging front elements, in which case, you may need another adapter.PAUL H : The filter size depends on the diameter of the front element, not the brand. It can be uses on any lens with the right diameter regardless of brand.ROBERT SIMMONS I : It depends on what lens you are using and it's filter thread diameter. For instance, if you are using the RF 24-105mm f4 L IS lens it has a filter thread of 77mm and this filter will work. If you are using the RF 15-35mm f2.8 L IS lens it has a filter thread of 82mm and this filter will not fit. Look at the end of your RF lens opposite the lens mount you will see the name of the lens. Opposite the name on the ring you will see a number followed by small circle with a line through it. The number is the filter thread size and the circle symbol means "diameter". If it reads 77 then this filter will work. Hope this helps you.

Breakthrough Photography is introducing a ND and CPL combination filter, which they call a 'Dark CPL'. "Stacking ND and CPL filters is a common scenario for outdoor photographers. But the primary drawback of doing this is vignetting at 16mm on a full-frame setup. By combining our X4 ND and X4 CPL into one filter - which we call a Dark CPL - we've eliminated vignetting down to 16mm on a full-frame setup. The Dark CPL is compatible with the following camera and lens systems: Leica, Carl Zeiss lenses, Schneider Xenon, Canon Cinema and L lenses, Nikon, Sony, Fuji and others.
