Good filter. Not quite as nice as the x2s, but you get what you pay for. This is a solid budget option, and still backed by their amazing warranty (just don't forget to register it.)

Solid budget option

I put a UV or clear filter on all my lenses for protection. After a recent lens realignment, I am left with three Leica lenses that all use 39mm filters and I only had one B+W 39mm filter. I decided to try two Breakthrough Photography X1 UV filters. There are three differences; B+W uses German-made Schott glass that gives 98.8% light transmission and the X1 uses Japanese-made AGC glass that gives 98.6% light transmission; B+W uses brass rings that rarely bind and are stronger, the X1 uses aluminum rings that frequently bind. The X1 ring is half as thick as the B+W F-Pro ring.

Seems to be almost as good as my B+W filters.

Great lens filter! Works as advertised.  Will be using it mainly for wide angle landscape photos. Is a great way to protect my camera lens.
