The BTP X2 CPL looks well made and ring has solid points to help fingers rotate the CPL ring. When compared to a Hoya HD2 CPL the coloration and darkness are visually indistinguishable, both with a slight yellow tint. Ring depth is the same. Now BTP has the new X4 (which BPT says that the X4 was designed and made by them) and interestingly, although BTP compares the new X4 and X2 CPL to many other leading brands, yet BTP does not compare them with Hoya. All told, it could be that the BTP X2 CPL lens was/is a Hoya HD2 lens filter.

No complaints with these filters at all! Love the quality and the build, even with the step-up rings. Superb. And made in the U.S.

Fantastic Circular Polarizing Filter. From the packaging to the scalloped edges making rotation the filter easier to the noticeable effects, everything about this filter speak "quality!"

Filter's construction and optical performance are as advertised...no noticeable degradation of image sharpness or any color cast. Worth it.
