This ND filter is perfectly neutral with no discernible color cast, just as advertised. Image quality is not impacted. It is well built and screws onto and off of the lens easily. When stacked on top of the Breakthrough UV/protection filter there is no vignette at 24mm on my Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L lens. The lens cap and lens hood fit without interference. This 6-stop filter is just a tad more than six stops requiring a +1/3-stop adjustment to exactly match the exposure without the filter. Overall, a very impressive piece of gear.

Breakthrough Photography?s X4 series ND filters are excellent. Minimal tint and no vignette. I can?t recommend them enough. I have them for all my lenses. Great product!

Breakthrough makes the best Optical filter glass on the planet. As a professional photographer, I need edge to edge sharpness that doesnt fall off or distort, or refract in odd ways that cheaper filters do. For long exposures - this is my go to filter of Choice, Like: Highest quality in a thin filter. Dislike: High price for quality - but worth it, for excellent results everytime.

Great filter. Well built and with brass threads very easy to install and remove. No color fringing or distortion as far as I can tell. Packaging and case is pretty basic, but that?s my only minor complaint.

Have only used this bad boy once so far, but it was AWESOME. Also, incredibly easy to thread on and off. No perceptible color shift really at all. Definitely worth the price tag.

This is my first breakthrough filter I have purchased. I purchased it because of the good reviews. I have only used it a couple of times and it did not disappoint. My favorite feature of this filter is the wide band that has a very deep rib around it that makes it ever so easy to take off the camera. I will continue to purchase these filters for their quality and ease of removal. Thank you Breakthrough.

Appears to be well built and the "traction frame" really does make it easier to grip when threading on or off of a lens. I have only used it a couple of times so far, but have not noticed any color cast or had any other performance issues. As I can see no faults at this point I would give it a full five stars.

I’m a hybrid shooter (pictures/video) and considered these filters for a while. I started with cheap filters as I learned which was ok w/proper WB but some of that color shift always seemed to linger. I have tried medium priced options as well, and variable ND’s. They are ok, but honestly not a huge jump from just the cheap $30 solid ND set I had started with. People say VND is the way to go for video shooters, but it just doesn't make sense as most of the quality VND’s are 2-5 stops, and then 6-9 stops so you wind up switching filters anyways. So I opted for top quality solid ND’s in 3/6 stop. This covers most uses, and just bump up ISO a bit at worst. Very happy with color. Saves so much time in post, time is money! On Sony A7iii with 16-35GM no vignette at 16mm. Glad I went with this over variable ND’s (which may have their place), but quality wins over trying to avoid a 5 second filter change in my opinion.
