Owned my oracle x for 2 years with zero problems . About 1 years after I bought it my garage caught fire and it was in one piece but pretty much cooked . Sent it in and it was replaced . Customer service does NOT get any better . Plus it is a game changer for all crossbows

Really wish we had returned this. The battery goes dead after only a few days in storage. AND putting the battery in is nearly impossible. My wife might leave me.

First the wedge and shim between the scope and mount were installed incorrectly from the factory...could not obtain zero manually at 20 yards this way. Luckily Wyvern Creations got back to me right away because Burris took their sweet time and got back two days later with no answer. Wyvern's advice got me on zero at 20 yards easily. Next after zeroing at 20 yards the reticle gave a d for truing at 35 yards which was my selection of yardage for my sr1 truing. The dot the reticle calibrated had me shooting in the dirt 15 yards in front of the target, it even shot low at 20 yards. So by the time I adjusted the aiming point to hit at 35 yards I was almost at the bottom of the reticle. So I would be lucky to shoot to 40 yards with this scope. Calibration is junk. Also in case someone thinks I'm shooting a slower bow or something, no, this came installed as a package on my brand new Tenpoint TX440 Crossbow.

Burris really needs to put the firmware upgrade for the battery issue on flash drive that can be requested by the customer. Or, allow licensed dealers to do the upgrade. Sending the scope in is not a reasonable solution.

Bought a month ago,,, just now setting up. This is not hard ? The manual makes it seem harder than it is with there terminology.Read manual,, & familiarize yourself with buttons. Google,, & watch several videos !! Take your time in setting it up,,, & sighting it in at the 20 yd using retica's only!! I started at 60 ,, then 40 ,, & 30. When your ready to sight in ,, hit your yardage,, go into trying menu. It's going to illuminate a suggested dot. Try shooting,,, & using the up or down button to move that dot up or down. Note that the original dot will be there for now,, with a lil O around it. That's to show where it was,,, so you won't lose previous dot. Take your time !! I've been at the range multiple times. You do not have to do it all in one day!! Still have to tweak windage a lil to move to right,,, it's close to the point i damaged 3 arrow 's today with phenomenal groups !! P.S ,,, blue colored pie plates are the best for seeing the dot much more true when sighting in ,,, or whenever? Haven't gotten the chance yet to place on brown,, yet ???? !!!!

I purchased my Oracle X scope in 2021. i mounted it on my Ten Point Havoc 440 and took it out to sight it in. The instructions are pretty good and it took me about an hour and a half to get it sighted in. This thing is amazing, it gives you a yardage very fast and is very accurate. The Oracle X saves me alot of time, instead of messing with a range finder that could end up costing you a shot. simply push the button on the scope or use the remote button which ever you use you never take your eye off the target. being able to do this makes it so much faster to concentrate on your target and your shot without picking up a range finder getting the range and sitting it back down without alarming what you are going to shoot!!!!! if you are thinking about purchasing one of these scopes i highly recommend this product. the crew at burris optics is amazing!!!! i had an issue develope during very late season hunting. i called the service department they had me send it in. they looked at it and the result was a brand new scope no questions asked. this process took 4 weeks after they recieved my scope. that is what i call standing behind your product. i will continue to use Burris products and recommend them to everyone who asks me which scope manufacturer that i would recommend.

I have this scope for 1year, and boy I never miss. This scope is super. I put it on my 6.5CM Tikka and shooting hand loaded 140gr Ballistic tips Nosler. I am very happy with this product.

Awesome experience first few times to the range, then the honeymoon is over. You have to push the button to turn it on, then point the crosshair at the object you want to hit and press it again. Then re-aim over the illuminated drop piper , then wait for the conditions to improve to make your shot, weather that's waiting for the target to clear for a good shot or just waiting for the wind to lull. Hopefully the scope doesn't time out before you get your shot off. There needs to be a timer set up cause making the shot after the reticle goes out is just like not having a $1200 scope

I already submitted a review about how much I like this scope but have to add this- the design of the battery location is TERRIBLE!!!!! I'm a dentist and consider myself to have pretty good manual dexterity but it is next to impossible to get the cap back on. I find I have to use some type of pliers to hold it steady and still I've been working on it now for over for 10 minutes! You need to re-design or at least lengthen the cap so you can grasp it. Very frustrating to know you have to do this so often due to short battery life. Forget about doing this in the field!

My only complaint is difficulty installing the battery cap. My solution was to remove the plastic swivel tab and it's metal pivot pinfrom the cap. Using a Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel I put a screwdriver groove in the cap. It takes a long screwdriver but it works for me.

Great scope however the battery will die after 5-6 weeks without any use. I guess there is no way to turn it off? You would think to just take the battery out but the design of the battery cover is horrible and is a pain in the butt to try and get back on. Pretty shoddy for a $1,200 scope.

I just purchased a new top end crossbow equipped with the ORACLE X scope. I have not finished setting it up yet but I was extremely frustrated trying to close the battery compartment. I spent 15 min trying to get the "screw on" battery cap to engage the threads. My wife spent another 5 min. I finally made a tool to hold the cap so I could screw it on straight. other than that, I am impressed with the scope

I have now used this sight for one full hunting season. Love the features and durability. I had taken a doe at 55 yards right at last light and this sight really drew the light in making for a good shot. Also, dragging her out of the woods in the dark I had fell a couple times and banged the sight both times on the ground. I was worried I might had knocked it off but shot my bow the next day and it was dead on! I also lost my remote on a hunt in Illinois and had a hunt coming up the next week in SE Oklahoma. I called Burris support and they sent me a new remote free of charge and I had it in 3 days!! I highly recommend the Burris Oracle X and will only buy Burris products going forward!

We install the Oracle X on a big bore air rifle for shooting arrow (Airbolt) at 500 f/s. We calibrate the scope and everything was right on bullseye at 20, 50, 100 yards and 4 inches up at 150 yards. We shoot from a solid rifle stand to eliminate human error. It is the best scope we ever use on this rifle. It is a really perfect match for this gear

Bought this 2 days ago. Set it up yesterday. Likes - setup process, clarity of dot and glass, accuracy and forever warranty. Only one improvement I would make would be the ON button to be included on the remote. Much easier to use than my BDX system. The Oracle X is the cats meow of crossbow scopes!!

Image is clear. Easy to mount and bore sight. Dialed in fast. Works as advertised in every way I can think of. The scope programming was fairly simple. You will have to pay attention, but not bad at all.

Received my first Oracle X crossbow scope in October 2021 already mounted and sighted in. Took a few shots to verify and went hunting. This year (2022) I spent more time at the range with it and had trouble with the scope freezing up after 2 hours at the range. Burris replaced with a new scope in 7 days! Ryan was very helpful. The new Oracle X does not free up and is an excellent product. The rangefinder is exact. Crystal clear optics with 2 x 7 magnification. Dialed in out to 100 yards. Red dot is crisp and adjustable. Remote wireless unit is excellent. Did I mention the warranty is fantastic. Thanks Burris!

Just got this, and it took me 4 bolts with my NXT 400 to true it at 50 yards. I am so pumped to be able to range now, my brother-in-law thinks I just won the lottery. I only see out of one eye, so trying to guage yardage is a major pain, and very lerge downer. I have shot from the ground and from my stand at home (12) feet up, and I hit the center no matter what. This has got to be the best purchase I have ever made for bow hunting, besides the bow I am using. Would give 10 stars if I could, I am that impressed.

After you struggle through the setup process, the scope is incredibly accurate and easy to use. The only issue I can see is the potential for the target animal to walk away while you press the fire button and get the responding distance and sighting dot. I'll use the scope this season and report back the results.

It does have a failsafe mode where you can use the dots in a normal manner, without using the ranging feature. Nicely packaged, substantial feeling. I believe I'll be able to follow the instructions. It looks like there is no need to know your Xbow speed.

Bought the Eliminator lll for my 6.5 Creedmoor. Programs easily. Zeroed at 100 yards and then the fun began.4inch clay targets at 400 yards consistent and gallon jugs to 800 yards consistent. This scope takes all the work out of long range shooting. Love this scope. This makes scope #6 from Burris.
