after less than 50 rounds my Eliminator III lost focus beyond 14X magnification and over all objective range settings. Planning on returning this barely used scope back to Burris as soon as they respond to the company RMA request. Seems the problem is a mechanical one which is inexcusable at these prices..Unhappy camper.

Burris makes the best rifle scopes on the market. By far the best warranty on their products. I have 4 of the Burris Eliminator III rifle scopes. I have harvested many big game animals using these scopes. It is very true when they say range them and eliminate them.

I have just purchased an eliminator III scope for my custom 7mm08 rifle . I lowered my rifle from my tree stand and unfortunately my rope broke. The rifle fell approximately 10 feet onto the scope. Upon reciting the scope it was only off by approximately 6 Inches at 100 yards. I found that the scope had shifted in my Picatinny rail. I resighted the rifle and the scope worked flawlessly.This is an incredible piece of equipment.

This is my second Eliminator 3 they suck. Sent the first one in for a warranty they sent me a new one has the same problems won’t stay sighted in. Every time I use it it’s off. Don’t buy one. I love the idea and the concept behind the scope just doesn’t work very well.
