I mounted this on a Ruger Mark IV that has a trigger job. The guns more accurate than I can hold and the 2x Burris allows me to consistently hit targets at 50+ yards. The set up is deadly on varmints and a lot of fun to shoot. Only draw back is that it is a little on the heavy side.

If you're rifle has a 20 mos built in the stock how do you zero this thing for 500yd shot . Set at 100,200 or will it even zero out at all.

I've had the Burris Eliminator 5 mounted on my Weatherby 6.5 300 Magnum for a while now, and it continues to exceed my expectations. The accuracy is outstanding, and the overall build quality is top-notch. Burris has truly crafted a durable and reliable optic, and the ease of use-especially with the newly released app-makes range calculations and shooting adjustments a breeze. However, what stands out even more for me is the customer service experience. I've always been a fan of lifetime warranties, but it's the reliability of the company behind the warranty that matters most. Burris has definitely earned my trust. I had a minor issue with the battery cap on my Eliminator 5, and their technical support team went above and beyond to help me resolve it quickly. Special shout-out to Alex from Burris Optics Technical Support for his exceptional assistance. Given how much I've enjoyed the Eliminator 5, I'm now seriously considering upgrading to the Eliminator 6. Burris has proven to be a brand I can rely on for both quality and support, and I can't wait to see what they've done with their latest offering. In summary, the Eliminator 5 is an excellent investment, and the customer support truly reinforces Burris' commitment to standing behind their products.

This is the best rifle scope in the market. I was shopping for quite a long time before I settled with this scope and considered Swarovski ds as well. Eliminator 5 has the best value and better range.

Antelope laid down 525 yd away.buddy says let's see how your range finder works he put his $3000 binaculars Up there and ranged the same thing he said do you think you can sneak up on him? I said I didn't buy this scope To Do that. I Settled the gun down on a fence post and one shot he never got up.

Ii was skeptical buying this for a .378 Weatherby Mark V, but figured I could swap scopes if the recoil was too severe. Today was my first attempt with the scope. After boresighting at 50 yards. I switched to 100 yards. Shooting only two shot groups. Because of the recoil. The first group was a little high and right, the second after adjustment was basically one hole the third moving down was less than 1/2"then I moved I mil right and fired a shot to check. Perfect. The scope is as sharp as a tack and very intuitive to shoot. A former marine sniper was watching me shoot and couldn't believe the accuracy. The wind came up to about 30 mph so I didn't try any long range targets. I hadn't programmed the scope for the 270 gr Weatherby factory loads. Will be my elk rifle in Montana this fall

I have only shot a box of shells with it. I have it on a 6.5 that has stout recoil , so far holding zero well and clear glass. At first I wasnt sure bout the fine plex , I thought a heavier plex would be faster to aim, but as I use, it I have decided with a scope this size the fine crosshairs make it faster to find the target ,doesnt block it out, I am very pleased at this point

I put this scope on a 20mm rifle I built. This rifle had shaken loose 2 Nikons and a Leupold, but this little handgun scope it still going strong and has maintained zero for 6 months and dozens of range trips later. What really amazed me was when I accidentally knocked over this 75lb rifle. The scope hit a piece of metal when it landed and the zero never shifted.

The scope cannot handle heavier recoil. The company states that it can. I put it on a 460 XVL and the scope broke in he first 5 shots. Now when I look through the scope there are internal parts blocking the view.

I bought this brand new in the box. When I opened it up and tried to adjust the eyepiece to focus on the retical it wouldn't move. I noticed a lot of exposed threads and assumed it had been backed all the way out and was stuck there. Not wanting to force it, I sent it back to Burris for repair or replacement. I'll update this rating based on the results. I currently own 3 other Burris optics and they are stellar.

HANDGUN SCOPES:
Handgunning is challenging enough without having to depend on scopes that are little more than an afterthought. Which is precisely why Burris builds the shooting industry's most extensive family of handgun-specific scopes.
High quality, fully multi-coated optics, and the commitment of a Burris Forever Warranty make up a solid nucleus, and, as you'd expect, the line brims with innovations and firsts. Like handgun scopes with a parallax adjustment to accommodate both long-range and close quarters shooting, and the first variable handgun scope on the market.
