Review Summary

Purchased a Month ago. It looked of good quality and installed with ease. First thing I noticed was there was audible click in the elevation dial, but no audible click in the windage. No worries took it to the range and sighted the dot in. The sight tools flat head is too small for the adjustment and will damage the sided of the screw...I would recommend bringing your own flat head that fits. After 400 rounds through the gun, the front glass became unglued and loose. I understand that the quality is much lower as it is Chinese manufacturing but it should not break after 500 rounds and we'll taken care of. I will reach out to the warranty department for replacement. It is understandable that there is bad lemons even in the best American manufacturing so I am not upset, though disappointed that burris switched from manufacturing in the Philippines, which is known for a higher quality of craftsmanship then China.

The 4 is a nice upgrade from the 3, now it is time to make it with a green dot.

I got this scope on my 18" LaRue Tactical 6.5 Grendel and was hitting steel at 600 yards using the BDC with no problem after I zeroed in at 100 yards. The low power setting is good for both eyes open target engagement. Great scope at a great value!

I have tried hard to like this scope, but it has been unreliable and flawed. I have had two of these with the same problems. This second one is going back to Burris this week for warranty repair/replacement. 1) Fails to hold zero. Strings vertically +/- 3 MmoA shot to shot, windage seems to shift between each shooting session. 2) Optics are unclear, like the coatings are off or the glass is imperfect. 3) Scope is mounted on Burris' PEPR QD mounts, so mounting hardware is sound. Mounted this scope on another, known-great rifle and got same results; mounted different scope on same rifle, and shoots < 1 MoA. 4) Scope is quite heavy for long-term carrying/shooting. I hope Burris is able to fix both problems or replace the scope with one of their best ones.
