I used this platform on my ar-15 and ar-10. It tacks nails and once its zeroed all the other hold over MOA reticles are spot on. If you own an AR get one for yours. The firefly addition is also highly recommended. I also like the PPER mount. Very sturdy and well built.

While looking through the scope you see the end of the barrel, in my case an AR-10 meanwhile the bullseye in the scope is pointing about 3 degrees to the left. The rifle is straight the scope mount is straight but the scope is useless as is and needs to be sent back for repair or replacement. Is there no quality control at at all at Burris?

I use this without the red dot on an AR platform in .450 bushmaster. I've taken bear and deer. Most of my area I hunt in is close range, thick cover and I feel this optic shines here. It's not marketed as a hunting optic but it works very well! Only issue I have is I've tried to contact support to order new caps and never revived any reply. Other than that, it's good to go for the past 4 years.

From day one illumination stays on period. Can’t shut it off and must remove the battery. Piece of junk

I Got the fullfield tac 30 about 5 years ago for an AR build and love it. the fastfire 3 still has the original battery in it and works great the tac 30 scope has Excelent optics and very solid mount. This red dot scope combo is worth every penny and more.

Does not come with any type of scope cover. Otherwise looks good, fella sturdy and glass is pretty good. Hoping to get it sighted soon.

This is the first Burris optic I have purchased, but it won’t be the last. The Fullfield Tac30 has great clarity and light gathering, allowing for extended shooting time or great hog hunting at night. The lighted reticle really draws your eye and makes it easy to get on target in the early dawn, dusk and late night hours. I’m super happy with the ease of adjusting the magnification and sighting in the scope was simple and fast. So far I have no complaints. But if something come up, I don’t really anticipate any problems with the Forever Warranty guarantee by Burris. Winning all the way around.

I bought this scope about a month ago and when I received it I put the battery in it and the reticle came to life. Going through the setting was a breeze with the push button, that is until you get the scope on the gun and out in the real world. The push button does not work at any temperature below normal room temperature. While I was at the range sighting it it I could not cycle through the brightness settings. It would turn on on the cold but as soon as you wanted to change brightness it would do nothing after the first press and the second press would shut it off. I wish this thing had a turret style knob instead of a push button.

I have been shopping around for a quality scope. I didn't want to pay an enormous amount for a scope. After shopping around I found this Burris TAC30 and to my surprise it had everything I wanted. This is by far a superior quality made scope at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this scope.

The tac30 1-4x24 is a great optic with awesome glass and I love the reticle but I really wish it came with caps and a mount

While designed for the discerning competitive shooter, law enforcement, and military operators, the Burris Fullfield TAC30 1-4x24 Riflescope stands out with its advanced features and robust construction. This high-performance optic is engineered with an Illuminated Ballistic CQ 5.56 Reticle, providing a clear aiming point with an illuminated center dot and a large bright circle for rapid target acquisition at close quarters. The reticle is optimized for both 5.56 and 7.62 cartridges, offering holdover dots for precise trajectory compensation up to 600 yards.
The riflescope's versatility is further enhanced by its variable 1-4x magnification range. At 1x, it facilitates close-in, both-eyes-open shooting, essential for dynamic tactical situations. When dialed up to 4x, the scope allows for confident engagement of mid-range targets, making it an ideal choice for a variety of shooting scenarios.
Crafted with superb optical glass, the Fullfield TAC30's lenses are multi-coated to ensure maximum light transmission, low-light performance, and reduced glare. This is complemented by the HiLume multi-coating, which delivers a bright and clear image even in challenging lighting conditions. The scope is fully compatible with night-vision technology, extending its utility into all hours of operation.
The TAC30 is equipped with TAC-2 Low Profile Tactical Adjustment Knobs, which provide precise and easy-to-use windage and elevation adjustments. The scope's construction is exceptionally lightweight, weighing 25%-50% less than comparable models in its class, without compromising on strength or durability. It is constructed from aircraft-grade 6061T6 aluminum, ensuring resilience and longevity.
To maintain its precision, the scope features a Posi-Lock system - a coil-spring assisted retractable steel post that locks the accuracy into place, safeguarding against the heaviest recoil. Additionally, the scope is purged at least 24 times with high-quality, laboratory-grade dry nitrogen, absorbing airborne and residual surface moisture to prevent internal fogging. This meticulous process, along with recoil, water, and fog-proof testing, ensures the scope's performance in all weather conditions.
The Fullfield TAC30 is also designed with special quad seals, offering double insurance against leakage, further solidifying its reliability in the field. Whether for competitive shooting or tactical operations, the Burris Fullfield TAC30 1-4x24 Riflescope is a precision instrument that delivers unmatched clarity, durability, and performance.
