Awsome scope

I just picked up my second Veracity PH. They are definitely worth the money and Burris has the best customer service hands down.

Excellent Scope for the Long Range Hunter.

Multiple range trips now with the 3-15x44 Veracity PH and it's awesome. I never owned last year's Gen I 4-20x50, but this Gen II is unseating a Zeiss Conquest V4. The ED glass is very clear, bright and controls chromatic aberration well. The rapid cross reticle at 3x is visible in good to dimming light without illumination. At twilight, the illuminated reticle is a perfect cross at low power. The thicker post are visible in all light levels throughout the magnification range and directs your eye to the center nicely. The reticle is the best FFP reticle I've seen for hunting. The HUD is why I bought the scope. It removes the step of having to reference a DOPE chart. Also, instead of having to look at the turret to dial a number, you can range and go right to the scope and dial the yardage. I've had to dial in low light before and it was hard to see numbers on turret. This scope solves that problem. I've yet to have any issues dialing to yardage and back to zero. Everything has tracked nicely. I did have to true up a load so that it was hitting a small plate at 800 yards with the HUD showing "800 yards". All I did was adjust velocity in the app and upload to scope. The Burris app is easy to use, especially if you are familiar with apps like Strelok or 4DOF. Uploading data from app is easy and once data is uploaded to scope, it's stored in the scope and connection is no longer needed. I'm impressed with everything about this scope and will be replacing another scope with a 3-15x44.

Faulty Right out of the box

Brand new scope out of the box and the windage adjust doesn't work and now I have to pay to ship it back to burris to have them fix what should of never been broken. Will be the last burris scope I ever buy.

Incredibly clear with good focal distance

I've been wanting my next scope to be a Burris. Got a new pew so I needed a scope. I was looking for a 4-6x and found this one and the price came in the range I was wanting. One major bonus about this scope is that the illuminated reticle is off/on between brightness rather than going thru all the brightness levels to turn off.

Great package

For starters, I like the red dot much more than I expected for quick, close quarter use, but it isn?t the highlight. The scope is everything I wanted: clear glass, simple reticle, and very accurate. I am very happy with my purchase and will buy Burris again.

AR10 Mount

I have this setup on an AR10. The scope is beautiful a perfectly clear picture with lots of FOV. Be sure to double check the mount is tight though, took it out to shoot and the rapid fire loosened the scope in the mount.

great value considering quality vs cost

You can buy a better optic for money, you can buy an inferior product for less money, but at its price point, I feel this is the best option currently on the market, and I looked through quite a few before pulling the trigger on this purchase.

Great scope! Great combo!

I bought this combo about two weeks ago. I have ran about 350 rounds through my AR with it and zeroed the scope very easily. The glass is super clear and reticle is very crisp. The reticle is bright enough to use during the day (could be brighter). Overall construction is great. The fastfire 3 on top is a nice touch. I zeroed the main scope at 100yds and the red dot at 25yds. For the money, this is a great option for someone who wants a nice LPVO with a mount? the red dot is a bonus that you can remove and mount on another gun if you want to.

Best under $1k on the market!

Recently had the ability to purchase my dream gun, DDM4v7 mil+. I was dead set on putting a mid-high dollar LVPO like Leupold, Trijicon, or Aimpoint to complement the out of the box sub moa DD. I did all the research and went to check out the optics for myself. I was blown away by how terrible some of these lvpo's were for the money they were asking. Leupold was great glass but terrible illumination and reticle. Trijicon.. worst eye relief and eye box imaginable, if your eye wasnt exactly centered and 1.75" away, you were seeing concave black rings around an image that was hazy. I was down and out, when the salesman suggested the RT6 w/fastfire3. I've always known Burris to be a mid-low option for beater guns. I couldnt have been more wrong. The Glass is clear, crystal clear. Leupold clear around reticle. The eye box is massively forgiving and eye relief is 3-6" of "put your cheek anywhere and I'll give you an image" greatness. Reticle is a fantastic horseshoe with bdc and distance ranging. Theres even windage holds and speed estimation akin to a smaller version of the acss Aurora. Illumination is BRIGHT. 10 dimmer settings and best is in between settings a half click that turns off illumination. One of the best takeaways from this optic is the True 1x. The RT6 can be used for fast acquisition on close to mid targets with both eyes open and absolutely zero prismatic distortion! Phenomenal. The adjustable scope throw lever is handy and fast to get you at whatever power you need quickly without taking eyes off target or cheek off weld. Now the only thing I couldnt even bring myself to love about this optic package was the top mount fastfire3 red dot. It ends up being so high up that you have to pull off cheek weld and almost hover above it to use the red dot. Not exactly a time saver. I even used the extra mounting rings it cane with and tried every combination of placement I could to mount that little thing. In the end, I got an pic 45 offset and mounted up near the base of scope mount. The idea of the red dot is for fast transition and acquisition to close targets vs adjusting scope lever down from power to 1x(which in itself is hard to beat time-wise). However, offset mount for the red dot off the rail let's you rotate the rifle while maintaining cheek placement and you can switch back and forth from optic to reddot very very quickly never having to move your head. I think Burris can do better with positioning. The whole top mount thing is awkward and would be terrible for competition. Which is definitely just my opinion. To wrap all this up, Theres a lot to love about this optic and very few things to find fault with. In the end my only complaints came down to a personal preference of red dot mounting. Which says nothing against the optic itself. You can spend upwards of $1200 and still not achieve the quality, options, and target or combat effectiveness of this Optic package. This is what a LPVO should be. And Burris is clearly putting others on notice of their capabilities with this package. You would be doing yourself, and your gun, a disservice by not at least trying this out for a day at the range. You wont be disappointed.

Very shocked by how great this is

I bought this as a recommendation for short and longer range as a multi purpose. I have a 4K leupold mark 5 HD scope on my long range rifle and the Burris scope I was very surprised by. Not only the cost but all the detail that went into it. Hands down 3rd review I have wrote as I am very shocked at how well this combo performed.

RT 6 review

This is the greatest scope for the AR 15 ever invented, this scope will guarantee that your 223 OR 5.56 bullet will impact ?on target? at 100 to 600 yards regardless of your barrel length, bullet weight or style! Incredible, the engineers at Burris really know their stuff!

Possibly the best value at this price today.

Haven't used them all, but I've handled quite a few shooting multigun every month for several years. Was out on the range yesterday comparing this to a couple other optics similarly priced (more expensive by a couple hundred bucks in one case from other brands. This has a wider field of view at 1x, sharper glass at the edges, and a built in throw lever - it's just more for the money. And I have yet to see better for $350. Any of the negative reviewers on here can me theirs. I have also suggested this to friends with the same excellent results. No doubt technology will jump ahead in the coming years with the push for more magnification in LPVOs going full tilt right now, but as of 2020, this is a great option if it's in your price range. I think it might be a great option against scopes all the way up to about $600.

Very practical optic

I haven’t owned this optic long enough for an in depth review, but I can say that it’s Illumination settings are very practical along with the reticle. You’d have a very hard time finding a better value

Fantastic and works with astigmatism

There are lots of pros to this scope, and I have yet to find something to complain about. Good price Not too big Clear glass Simple to use controls Quick and easy to engage targets at different distances Reticle works even if the battery dies Easy to use reticle that isn’t too busy This was my first LPVO and I won’t need to upgrade.

BDC Spot On! Great Scope for the Money

Have been nothing but happy with this scope. Using Burris's ballistics reticle calculator I sighted in for 50 yards. After a few range sessions at 100 yards I got invited to shoot at a buddy's house with a 500 yard range. Skipping from 100 yards all the way out to 500 sounded like a blast with my 18" Ruger MPR. Using cheap 55 grain IWI 5.56 I laid prone and held dead on the 500 yard crosshair. The first shot rang the steel about 4" from center and I was amazed that I had just achieved a first shot hit at 500 yards! The next 5 straight shots were also hits and in the end I hit 8 out of 10 times. After gaining some confidence from that range session I took the same rifle and ammo to a 600 yard range and had no problem nailing steel again! I am overly impressed with this scope especially for how spot on the reticle is with cheap 55grain ammo that you can find at Walmart. Pretty cool that you do not need match ammo and precise dope to get first shot hits at considerable distance.

Super Clear Scope!

I’ve owned a Fullfield 4.5-14 and an MTAC 1-4 and this RT6 is substantially clearer to me than either of those. I run this on my MK18 length URGI build and it makes consistent hits super easy. Even though it’s a shorter barrel and most would recommend a red dot, I have an astigmatism so a true one power etched reticle works much better for me. I love this scope especially for the price!

Disappointed with the RT-6

The RT-6 has great glass but the turrets are absolute junk. Stiff and sloppy dials with no consistent tactile or audible clicks. I’ve used other Burris optics and loved them so I chose this over a. Vortex. SE. I called and emailed Burris and they offered to take a look to see if iit can be repaired but I am unable to get my money back. Huge waste of time and money. therefore I will be staying away from their products.
