I bought the scope from Cabelas about 8 years ago. It has been on several different rifles and now it's on my Ruger Precision .308. I've become very accustomed to the FFP. I was a bit worried at first but now I am happier than ever! All I want to know is if I can get a set of new lens covers. They got a little brittle and the larger one finally cracked. I can't find them on the website but I'm happy to pay. I absolutely love this scope! I have a fancy computerized scope and I will take the Burris any day.

This was my first rifle scope with a first focal plane cross hair. I found that it was interesting to see how the cross hair changed size visually. As a primarily target scope it should be excellent but it will be interesting to see how it preforms hunting. Since the vertical adjustment was set for max elevation, long range, rings and bases must be purchased with that in mind.

It was a shootout between the vortex version of this scope and the Veracity. Veracity came in almost 2 inches shorter and lighter. With my rifle I couldn't get safe and comfortable eye telief with the Vortex ( I have a long neck). Going for a 200 yard zero using Burris tactical scope rings and this glass, I was shocked with the clarity and consistency with walking it in and tight groups. Low light elk hunting south of Alamosa CO was suprising as well. Super clear glass and great light gathering at all magnifications. For my budget and wanting a FFP reticle I don't believe I could have done better.

I've had my 4-20x50 for 2yrs, sitting on 300Wby and 100% satisfied. I purchased custom knobs to dial up to 700yrds and took my Once-in-a-lifetime Ibex at 695 this year. Has always held zero, even when dialing it multiple times within short periods while hunting open country hogs. For the price no complaints.

I’ve had this scope for about a year. Set it up on rifle for elk hunt. Clear glass, good focus, awesome turrets. The turrets move smoothly and travel true up and down Very accurately. Turrets are very easy to reset at zero.

I just recently purchased this scope to go with my new Sako 85 Varmint in .243 Winchester. This scope is absolutely amazing for the price I paid for it and includes features that you would find on scopes that are much more expensive. The glass on this scope is extremely clear and is great at all magnification ranges. The side focus works excellent and really makes for a clear shot at whatever range you are shooting at. The turrets have awesome tactile and audible clicks and offered plenty of adjustment to get my gun sighted in quickly and easily. I had my new rifle out for the first time today and was able to place a three shot group under 1 inch at 200 yards easily. All in all I couldn't be more happier with this purchase, I have bought other scope brands over the years but this scope has me sticking with Burris in the future. You really get an awesome scope for your hard-earned money.

Now have two. Glass is better than the price range, and the reticle subtension size is great for prairie dog sized targets, neither too small or too large, have had quite a few FFP's this reticle is well thought out. Its not as easy as it seems to get this right, the ideal subtension size will depend a lot on your target size, and what magnification you prefer to shoot at, for me shooting prarie dogs at 10x-12x its perfect.

Mounted on a 308 with a 20 MOA rail. Not enough downward adjustment for 100 yard zero. Using hold overs works but not the best option.

I bought the 4-20 four years ago on a friends recommendation and put it on my new 280ACKLEY I had custom built to take deer hunting this was my first Burris scope and iam really pleased with it the turrets work flawlessly it has taken 10 deer in four years none of them under 400yds all one shot clean kills thanks Burris for a grate product . Iam going to get two for my wife and my daughters rifles.

I loved the scope but couldn't get over the reticle. The mad knobs are awesome and the 4-20 zoom range is ideal! Ended up returning for a 5-25 with the scr reticle. I really wish this was offered in all models of this scope. I would buy another 4-20 in a heartbeat if they did!
