I bought this red dot roughly a year and a half ago, I got it mounted, sighted my shotgun in and used it for 1 hunt then my shotgun got put away until the winter at which point I went to go rabbit hunting only for my red dot not to turn on. I did some googling and apparently I'm not the only guy to have this issue, so I contacted Burris, I had to pay to ship it to them despite the fact it had literally only been used once to sight it in and 1 day of hunting out of a blind.... I shipped the red dot out late January and here I am nearly mid June and I still have no updates other than its been received. I always heard such good things about Burris, but after this ordeal I don't think I would ever support them again since their support is so terrible.

I love the Fast fire 3 -- so much so that I have five. Three have the 8 MOA dot; two have the 3 MOA dot. I shoot four IDPA matches a month and from one to five (depending on season) Steel matches monthly. Why five? Because the first and second worked so well, why buy anything else? The auto brightness setting works well, but sometimes I manually turn it down to deal with my astigmatism. My problem, not Burris's. The batteries last forever. I have no negatives to report at all.

I bought this sight a to install on a Ruger Security 9. I hope the person who engineered the battery cap lost their job long ago. This thing is a nightmare to put a battery in.

Installed the sight to the recommended torque and the base that comes with the sight stripped out, sight wasn't out of the box for 30 minutes. Then tried to call Burris and the number on the website was disconnected

Once the scope is mounted and torqued correctly it's great.

Had the ar-332 years ago, and finally got another one about 8 months ago and I absolutely love it. It's easy to setup and even easier to use. At 100 yards I can get decent 3x3 groups with a cheap DTI I threw together for the heck of it. I got it on sale from opticsplanet cause it was being discontinued and it has turned me into a fan of burris.

I've had this optic for well over ten years; love it, with zero issues since new. Have it mounted "old school" on a Windham Weaponry MPC A2 carry handle; 3x optic on top, with the handle incorporated BUIS below.

Spent way too much time trying to install the battery. I could easily screw the battery cap on WITHOUT the battery, but would not screw down with the battery. Tried over a dozen times, cap without then with the battery. Finally got it and the red dot would not turn on. I wasted over 3 hours, I'm a gunsmith and could not get the battery cap on with the battery. Checked the battery and its good.

I have 3 of these red dots and I find them to be very accurate. All are 3 MOA and I can acquire my target fast. I would highly recommend this product. Only problem I've had was caused by a friend dropping my pistol and it land on the sight. Burris covered it.

I bought this for my pistol. Best purchase I?ve ever made. It?s clear , easy to see through and adds practically no weight to my pistol . For a woman?s small hands weight is important.

Worked for five minutes then quit! Battery is almost impossible to install. I had high hopes for this sight but it was a huge disappointment. I am returning it tomorrow. Don?t waste your time or money on this.

I just got this today and I'm so disappointed , battery cover was hard to get on and stay, the dot is like a bunch of staggered specks, not clear . I have owned Burris products in the past, USA MADE PRODUCTS, and absolutely loved them, but this is not what I expected from Burris.

I have a FF3 mounted on a Glock EDC gun. As I age I found it getting very difficult to see the FSP and be as precise as I need to be for both hit probability and target certainty, looking through bifocals helps with a the sight picture, but I loose downrange resolution. Sigh, age. So I selected a FF3 and Glock mount. Two issues come to mind, the first is probably a training need that I must develop- being to find the dot as quickly as I can find even a blurry FSP in a hurry. I am finding accuracy improve back to where I am comfortable, when I finally find the dot, which is great, but time is an enemy. Finding Waldo-that's on me, muscle memory. The second and most concerning is that the dot seems to be constantly "off". I know there is an 8 hour timer, but even if I carefully reset it before bedtime, it usually is "off" when I awake, usually only about 5-6 hours later. Also, during the day ( I carry nearly 100% of the time when awake and dressed, the dot is , again, "off" even if i had reset it upon waking and then again at each mealtime or just prior to exit a vehicle etc. That is not a good tactical solution. I changed batteries, Energizer- looking for a Duracell, but still the same issue. The dot is constantly "off". One circumstance that may be contributing to this situation is that I am a left handed guy, and I may be bumping the selector button inadvertently during the day with stuff or my elbow. Maybe I will try gluing a "fence" around the button to eliminate the chance that my elbow is bumping the button. The button ought to be either recessed so it cannot be accidently activated or place in a more suitable location- perhaps dead center rear or even inside the recessed hood bottom? Frustrated. About to either return to irons/tritium, or look at a self powered unit like trijicon.... In a range setting, these issues are fine, but as is, I depend on my weapon and I am better off with a blurry FSP than no sighting arrangement at all. What to do?

I purchased a Burris Scope two months ago and I can tell you that I am really impressed with not only the quality of the scope, but with the expert advice I received when purchasing . I will be buying my next optic from Burris.
