Bought under a year ago, it worked on some of my AR's but I found the height above bore caused issues of bottoming out my elevation before I was zeroed (@100 yards). I called and spoke to customer service about trying to find a solution and the gentleman encouraged me to just buy a whole new mount. I'm on a budget and would have liked to have a solution that matches what I have. I was mounting the Burris Veracity to the P.E.P.R and after that customer service I will probably stick to Vortex and their solutions. Kind of stinks because I am a CO native born and raised not 30 minutes from Burris's headquarters and would have liked to support the local choice, but they just aren't up to snuff with Vortex and others...

Frustration without resolution

Although rather excellent, you will / may need to mount backwards as the ring position is too far forward.
Wish ring position was 1/2 to an 1in, backwards for better eye relief.

Great but.

I've had this mount for close to 5 years now without any issues. Out of the box it comes with either smooth cap ring tops or 1913. I have a 1-8 mounted in the scope rings and with the 1913 on the front allowing me to mount my red dot on top. Why do I say why pay more for less? I fell into the hype train and bought a Geissele Super Duper scope mount and if I want to mount my red dot on top I have to buy a reptilia mount for another $114.00 to do the same as what I got with my Burris P.E.P.R out of the box for less than the reptila alone. And to anyone saying the P..E.P.R isn't as good, I've never lost zero and thats shooting from 200-500 on IPSC steel or smaller so for me it's not JuSt As Gud its actually better than Geissele.

Why pay more for less?

Excellent quality at a price thats not rediculous. Fast shipping. Adorama is excellent.

This Burris 30mm Scope Mount is strong and tough. I like it. I got couple of these for years.

My favorite mount!

My first time to mount this on a rifle.  My decision to try the PERP mount was based on it's wide usage by 3 gun competitors and especially one in particular whom I've taken shooting lessons from.  I elected to go with the smooth ring top halves  included with this item as my CQC reflex sight is mounted at the one o'clock position with a different rail.  Adorama has good prices and has been a pleasure to deal with.  Customer service is quick to respond if needed.
