High Quality, Great Value
For a very reasonable price, you are protecting the costly front element of your lens. It's higher quality than comparable products by other manufacturers. It's a no-brainer.

B + W filters are all I ever use.
B + W filters are very well made and not plastic. They use brass because it is less susceptible to shrinking/growing in cold/hot weather, and won't bind to filter threads on a lens. Plus, B + W uses Schott glass, some of the best optical glass in the world. For a little extra money to protect my lenses and have the best picture quality, B + W is the only lens for me.

Good protection and doesn't degrade photos
This B+W filter protects the lens and doesn't get in the way of a great photograph. Using this one on an Olympus 45mm prime micro 4/3 mount lens.

Quality Filter
As I have come expect over the years B & W filters make very high quality products the perform year after year. My initial finding with this filter is no different, Quality, quality and at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Best for normal Zeiss T* C/Y mount len
Of course quality of B+W filter is very good , no doubt .
Filter size is 55mm , so it's very good for you to use it on Carl Zeiss T* len with Contax Yashica mount . This is due to many fix lens from this brand have filter size 55 .
With this filter mount , you can stop thinking of how to protect your len & is it any affect to image quality if I forget to take out filter when take photo . No need to take out filter when you shot , cause this filter quality is very good .
However , be careful to use it on wide len due to frame of this filter is big ( I think more than 5 mm ) , may make vignette on wide len ( less than 24 mm ) .
I recommend this filter for who want good B+W quality & shot with normal or telephoto len . Not recommend for shooting with wide len .

Great filter
Love B+W filters. Super clear glass with great multi resin coating. The rim is well machined and screws on seamlessly without any difficulty.
A must to protect your lens investment.

Great Product
This company is my new go-to company for lens protectors and filters. After using other less expensive brands for years, I forked out the money for this. The difference is subtle, yet perceivable in image quality. I highly recommend B+W filters.

High Quality Glass Superior Optics
I'm using this on my Canon VIXIA HG21. It's clear glass to protect lens. I keep it on all the time and I use it in conjunction with circular polarizer when shooting outdoor in bright sunlight. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the quality of glass and build. Don't forget its B+W Optics and not cheap quality glass.

Fine filer for the price
Quite simple to place on lens and leave it on to protect the lens.
