Good protection filter
I used to not believe in using a protective filter. Since purchasing a weather sealed camera and lenses, I been photographing in more challenging weather conditions. Having a protective filter gives me peace of mind. This is a well made product.

Does what you need and not what you don?t.
Does exactly as described. Protects the lens and doesn?t interfere with the picture. I have tried cheaper filters and found them to be a waste of money.

the product is excellent,i don't need it, this purchase was a mistake.Who need one is a good quality u can buy iy. i wanted to attach it to my telescope. its not working. i don't return suf .

B&W: A Great Company that produces Great Filters
This B&W lens filter is a great protector, doesn't interfere with images and is metal, not plastic like other cheap ones that have a Brand name. YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR> DONT BE CHEAP< UNLESS THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK OF YOUR L (or others) LENS !!

Unobtrusive.
Read reviews and comparisons. Expensive, but reasonable insurance for my new Nikon 500mm f/5.6 PF. I don't even realize it's there!

Attracts dirt and hair
Seems like it just adds more issues by attracting dirt and hair to the surface. It clings to it too. Even after cleaning it and trying different ways to reduce any static it just kept clinging dirt, hair, and fibers to the surface. I wanted something to protect my lens since I do mostly outdoor photography but I’m not liking it so far

Likes to attract dirt or hair
Seems like it attracts more debris and issues in comparison to other filters I have used. I don’t really like it honestly since I do outdoor photography. I wanted added protection but it’s a pain so far.

Perfect for the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 ART
Purchased this for my Sigma 105mm f/1.4 ART lens and it works fantastically. Unlike cheaper brands, B+W filters will have a minimal impact on image quality. In this instance, the difference with my Nikon Z7 is imperceptible, so it makes little sense not to have the extra bit of protection.

B+W filters - always protecting my lenses !
Best quality filters in my opinion. I have one of these (Clear glass filters by B+W) on all of my lenses. The optical quality is great, as far as I can tell it does not degrade the picture quality.
It payed off a couple of time when I busted the front area of my lens but only the filter got damaged :)
I also take my cameras out into the wild for shooting and it protects the front element from dust and other elements.
Highly recommended, especially if you have an expansive lens.
