Whether you're aiming for selective focus at f/4 instead of f/8, or seeking a long exposure effect at 1/15 sec instead of 1/60 sec, this filter delivers clear, noticeable results.
Constructed from finely ground and polished special glass, this neutral density filter ensures optimal optical quality without negatively impacting the performance of your high-quality lens. The filter is color-neutral, providing consistent light attenuation across the entire visible range for optimally color-neutral image results.
What sets this ND filter apart is its innovative thin-film technology. This not only enhances the pure ND filter effect but also includes a coating combination that optimizes the filter's performance. Each filter side features a multi-layer anti-reflective component with seven layers, effectively preventing unwanted reflections that can mar your images.
The final layer of this ND filter boasts dirt- and water-repellent properties, providing comprehensive protection for the filter. This feature also simplifies the cleaning and maintenance of the filter pane, ensuring your filter remains in top condition for longer.
Please note that ND filters are not suitable for direct visual solar observation due to the risk of blinding. They allow UV- and IR-rays to pass through, which can harm the eyes. For safe direct observation of the sun, please use special sun filters available from astronomy suppliers.
