Better than BW glass in my view, I have been using BW since the 70's , but their is something special about the Heliopan German brand... beautiful made glass , great price. The separation for the sky, and contrast in tonal value shift make this delicate tonality in the leaves sing, against the sky, this file is not manipulated, straight JPEG file. from M10 Monochrome- Leitz Wetzler Edition

These days it's exceedingly rare to find a brand that you can bet your life on the quality being nothing short of outstanding. B+W is one manufacturer that will not let you down. I recently ordered five of their orange filters. Every one was top quality, and all five registered identical light attenuation when checked with two separate meters. Consistent high quality; B+W's best selling point.
