I'm a big fan of B+W filters so I knew when I started to get into M glass that I was gonna need a few. For one thing I wanted an ND filter to be able to achieve some creamy bokeh shots and it does exactly that. Very well made, filters 100% recommend.

Bring your photography to new creative heights with the 67mm Master 810M ND 3.0 10-Stop MRC Nano Neutral Density Filter. This high-quality ND filter offers a substantial light reduction of ten f-stops, surpassing the capabilities of the B+W ND 106, and allowing photographers to capture images with a dramatic reduction in light intake. Ideal for creating ethereal effects, such as turning cascading water into a smooth, mist-like appearance or rendering bustling city streets into a canvas of blurred motion, this filter is a tool of choice for long exposure photography.
Crafted with precision, the filter utilizes finely ground and polished special glass, ensuring that the optical quality is preserved and that there is no degradation of image clarity when paired with high-quality lenses. The cutting-edge thin-film technology employed in this filter not only achieves the desired neutral density effect but also incorporates a sophisticated coating combination that enhances its performance. Each side of the filter boasts a seven-layer multi-resistant coating (MRC), which effectively reduces reflections and maximizes light transmission, ensuring crisp and clear images.
Moreover, the filter is engineered with an additional nano-coating layer that provides an outer shield, repelling dirt and water. This makes the filter exceptionally easy to clean and maintain, while also offering robust protection against the elements. The meticulous design ensures that light attenuation is evenly distributed across the entire visible spectrum, resulting in images that are free from color casts and maintain true-to-life color neutrality.
Please note that ND filters, including the 67mm Master 810M ND 3.0, are not suitable for direct solar observation as they transmit UV and IR rays that can be harmful to the eyes. For safe direct observation of the sun, specialized solar filters are available from astronomy equipment suppliers. Whether you're a professional photographer or an enthusiast looking to explore the creative possibilities of long exposure photography, this ND filter is an indispensable addition to your camera kit.
