Ideal for landscape, portrait, and sports photography, this versatile filter allows you to achieve a selective focus effect, such as requiring f/4 instead of f/8, or a long exposure effect, such as 1/15 sec instead of 1/60 sec. The filter is color-neutral, ensuring that your images maintain their true colors, making it a reliable addition to any DSLR photography equipment kit.Crafted from finely ground and polished special glass, this filter guarantees the necessary optical quality without adversely affecting your high-quality lens. The filter features thin-film technology, which not only enhances the neutral density filter effect but also optimizes the filter with a multi-layer anti-reflective component. I'm a big fan of B+W filters so I knew when I started to get into M glass that I was gonna need a few. For one thing I wanted an ND filter to be able to achieve some creamy bokeh shots and it does exactly that. Very well made, filters 100% recommend.
