This B+W polarizing filter, commonly referred to as a polarizer, is specifically engineered to intensify the saturation of radiant white clouds against a deep blue sky or the deep hues of fall foliage. One of the unique features of this filter is its rotating mount, allowing photographers to visibly control the polarization effect directly through the viewfinder or on the monitor display. This feature provides a significant advantage in capturing images with reduced reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, and glossy paint.
