Good glass and works fine. However, it is not exact size and therefore the Canon lens cover does not fit it. I do not like having to leave the lens uncovered as I walk.

This variable ND filter is the best I have ever used by far. No distortion X mark at the highest setting and crystal clear image. No vignette just a beautifully made ND filter. You have to pay to get good quality there is no way around it. If you have sharp lenses this is a must.

I bought the 77mm. Nice building quality, easy to use, no cross polarization but vignetting below 35mm on a full frame. I should have bought the 82mm or polar pro.

I was hoping it fits on my newly purchased Canon 24-70 mm ultrasonic version2, this filter fits but then my Canon EW -88 lens hood wont fit .This filter makes your pic more darker and is only good on bright light.I used it only after purchasing it after a month after purchasing from adorama and is unable to return.

A variable ND filter is needed if your going to shoot in log outdoors at a native ISO or if you are doing pics with the clouds moving in the sky. This B +W delivers great quality glass with out shifting your color! It's well worth the money!

I shoot outdoors in bright sunlight a lot of the time, so ND is a necessity and I love variable ND filters. The B&W is a good product for most conditions. A better product would be less dark in the first setting but then I didn't pay more so I can't complain. With this filter you will be taking off the filter when you shoot from a shaded spot on a bright day.

Versatile filter for unpredictable lighting
By Lyndon L.
This is a versatile and practical solution for outdoor photography when you can?t predict the lighting. I use it for landscape photography, especially waterfalls and snow.
How can you achieve the perfect exposure and depth of field in your photography, even in challenging lighting conditions The B+W 72mm XS-Pro Vario Neutral Density MRC Nano Filter is the high-quality solution you need. This durable and versatile filter offers a variable neutral density range from 0.3 to 1.5, equivalent to 1 to 5 stops, providing you with the efficiency and flexibility to fine-tune your exposure and depth of field with precision.
Crafted for professional use, the B+W ND Vario filter features an XS-Pro mount with a convenient index setting, allowing photographers to seamlessly adjust the density level to their specific requirements. Whether you're capturing a cascading waterfall or a bustling cityscape, this filter gives you the control to convey motion with a slower shutter speed or achieve a shallower depth of field even in bright conditions.
The multi-coated design of this filter is a testament to its superior construction, significantly reducing reflections and glare to enhance image quality and contrast. The MRC Nano coating is an advanced technology that adds an extra layer of protection, making the filter scratch-resistant and easier to clean. The nano coating's lotus effect ensures that water droplets bead up and slide off the surface, simplifying maintenance and ensuring your images remain clear and unaffected by the elements.
This 72mm circular filter is compatible with a wide range of lenses, designed to meet the needs of both amateur and professional photographers. The extra-wide (EW) design of the XS-Pro Vario ND mount minimizes the risk of vignetting, ensuring that your wide-angle shots are captured flawlessly, even with most 17mm lenses on a full-frame body.
For those seeking even higher density options, the B+W ND Vario filter can be combined with additional B+W ND filters of fixed value. When stacking filters, the ND Vario should be positioned as the outermost filter to maintain optimal image quality.
The B+W XS-Pro Vario Neutral Density MRC Nano Filter is available in various sizes to accommodate different lens diameters, ensuring that there's a perfect fit for your specific equipment. B+W recommends conducting your own tests with your equipment to confirm the exceptional results that this filter can deliver.
Elevate your photography with the B+W 72mm XS-Pro Vario Neutral Density MRC Nano Filter, the professional's choice for achieving creative control and impeccable image quality in any lighting scenario.
