If the caps had deeper rims they'd stay on my lenses better. As it stands, I'm constantly checking whether the caps are on, even when the lenses are stored in bags or cases.

the lens cap perfectly fits a Leica lens hood for one of my Leica-R lenses, which allows the hood to be left on the lens and cover it for protection of the lens..

Much better than the original lens cap that came with the filter. It was so loose that I lost it and needed a replacement. Seemed designed that way so I did not expect any better from the B&W replacement, but I could not find an alternative. Much to my surprise, it fits tight and woks great!

When I purchased the Slim filter a while back, I didn't realize it was supposed to come with this slip-on cap; so I had to order it separately. Now I know that Slim filters generally do not have front threads or are thick enough to accommodate a clamp-type cap. The Slip-on was hard to find, especially at a brick-and-mortar store. Fortunately, Adorama came through. I should have started there first.

Salesman said that I needed this because the lens I purchased did not have one. He was wrong the lens came with a cover and it was to expensive to send it back. Now I use it for a drink coaster. Don't always listen to salesmen.

This fits a lot better than the Adorama version. The Adorama version was so tight I was afraid I would split apart the polarizer when I took off the cap. The B&W is a touch tight, but that's probably within manufacturer tolerance.

Kept falling off, resulting in scratching to filter. After many rescues, I have now finally lost it and I am looking for a more secure alternative. All suggestions will be very welcome!

Bought to cover thin UV filter on Canon 10-22 w/no outer threads. Works OK, could be tighter, but for the $$, it's a good deal. If you own (or buy) a 10-22 and put a thin filter on it, you NEED this or an alternative which I haven't found (suggestions??).Thanks "BIG A(dorama)" [...]

i bought a tiffen 77mm wide uv filter for my tamron 10-24mm lens. there are no front threads to hold on the lens cap. i called tiffen, and they said they did not make a cover for these wide angle, thin glass filters. [...] the number crossed to a b+w cap, which i bought. perfect fit, and now i have lens and filter protection.
