Great batteries

I have had a set of these for a couple years. Just bought another set to use for more of my R/C toys. They are GREAT. I use them for my R/C hobby equipment, and Camera Flash. Anyone with R/C toys, these low drain batteries are a MUST! Never have to worry if you don't use your RC for a month or so, the batteries will still be strong.

NOT Precharged

I have used this trusted brand before and they are great batteries. Just know that my order of 16 batteries was not precharged and I had to charge them.

Everything I expected, best price online

Shopping for GOOD long-lasting rechargeable batteries for my flash units. The cheapo discount NiMH AA's worked, but lost their charge quickly. I needed something that would keep firing, and hold a charge in storage. These were recommended on a photo forum site, esp. since I already have a Maha/Powerex charger. This is the "low-discharge" line, that maintains its charge longer in storage. They were fully charged and ready to go right out of the box. Put them in two pretty big flash units (Promaster FL190) and started shooting. I think I've fired those flashes in slave mode almost 200 times, and the batteries are still going. Still haven't even gone through one charge! Don't confuse these with the higher mAh-rated line. These have only a slightly lower charge rating, but the key is the discharge rate. This line holds its charge longer than the ones with the higher rating. A better choice for devices that might sit a while in your closet, like a flash unit. Adorama also has the best price I could find for this set, esp. with the free shipping.
