These hold batteries securely but are easy to insert or remove batteries. Batteries can be inserted in either direction so used rechargeables can be easily located for recharge. Both ends of the batteries are exposed for testing without having to remove. Tough semi-flexible material that doesn't break or scratch items in a camera bag. Only issue is they are a bit pricey.

Use a bunch of these in different colors depending on battery type and size. Batteries stay secure, no shorting, easy in and easy out. Charged batteries + down in the little hole and discharged + up. Never had one fail. Only gripe is a bit pricey but will keep adding them as more gear bags add more battery powered things.

This is a great idea, It holds the batteries securely but it is easy to remove them when you need. Also being able to insert the spent batteries in upside down to keep track of good vs bad is really nice.

Although I prefer it to be glow-in-the-dark like the 4 cell version, orange is visible enough through most scenarios. Well made, compact and durable. Good to organize and hold sets or mix of 12 cells, plenty to have in emergencies and working on location. (I’ve thought this opinion through, tested for what works for me, your needs and results may differ.)

I never had a good way to store batteries, until this. This simple device is perfect for storing your AA batteries. It keeps them locked in until you want to remove them. It's made of strong plastic and its bright yellow color makes it so you can always find it.

I've been using these for years now, and they are great. I put charged batteries in positive side up (as shown in the picture), and reverse them when they have been discharged so I can immediately see which have been used and which need to be charged after a shoot.

Easy to get batteries in and out of the case. I bought 3 of them. Should have (and will) buy a few more. It is a much safer and more professional way to keep batteries close at hand. No more chasing batteries around my camera case when the rubber bands snap!

My favorite battery holder. Keeps contacts from accidental discharge with other batteries. Low bulk design. Easy to toss into a bag to bring batteries along. When I remove batteries from gear, I put back in holder upside down to keep track of fresh versus partially used batteries.

As noted by others, these battery storage caddies are really useful for keeping batteries of various sizes organized. The bright colors make them easy to find at the bottom of a bag or the back of a drawer. Storage of used / discharged batteries until they can be properly disposed of or recharged is easy - just turn them upside down. Recommended.

I have several of these and purchased them on more than one occasion. They are somewhat fragile if dropped, the plastic is hard and may break. But they are a worthy investment to help stay organized.

I use them to keep the batteries for my speed lights organized and love them. It's easy to keep the spent batteries separated by inserting them in the opposite polarity to the charged ones. An excellent system.

nice battery storage case. one for a flash one for the pocket wizards and two for battery packs and more for back ups. I love the fact these come in for 4 batteries It fits the normal usage.
