These are the best rechargeable batteries, they perform and perform and perform. They are a little pricy but so worth it!

These batteries absolutely kick butt. I think I know what Sanyo has done. When these batteries first came off of my charger my voltmeter was reading almost 1.4 volts and for a AA NiMH that is impressive. These batteries may cost more but their performance is fantastic!

I bought these to replace 2 year old white Eneloops that were starting to dip in charge. As a wedding photographer I would burn through 2 sets in my speed lite during a reception easily. These higher capacity Eneloops lasted the entire session. This definitely made my night easier. I highly recommend them.

I like to use these in radios and flashlights that sit for periods of time without use.

This is my latest purchase of Sanyo's Eneloops, which are now the only batteries I am using. The reliability and length of time these hold a charge is excellent. I can count on these to hold a charge even after long periods of non-use.

large commercial hall, high ceilings, after 1100+ pix in JPEG Fine & RAW via pro level camera and flash and a 24-70 2.8: the batteries showed about 1/3 discharged. Near instantaneous recovery for more shooting. My back-up batteries stayed in the pocket. I purchased these based on 2 years super experience with other Sanyo Eneloop rechargeables in 12 different photo/audio/flash devices/and 2 huge 3-C-cell LED, 600+ lumens flashlights that are used nightly.

I don't see how much better we can get than Purple Cells. Remember, it isn't a battery until it's permanently configured with two or more cells in series or parallel. So anyway these "Cells" as I mentioned are purple, Heavy and Packed with Juice (doping allegations unfounded pending further testing) I've been able to throw out a good burst before slowing down. And even then a bit rest in between leaves it roaring for more. I used them on an SB-600 Flash Unit at full power 90% of the time.

I use mainly for external speedlights. Fastest recycling of any battery i've ever used. More flashes per charge than other brands. The best battery i've used- and i've used MANY others!

I've been using my regular Eneloops with my DSLR ever since I got started with it, and loved how they lasted. I took a shot with one set of the XXs, and I have added two more sets since. My regular Eneloops are now my reserve set for if the XXs ever get used up. So far, they haven't. I'm no professional, and don't shoot hundreds of shots a day, but I'm certain that these batteries would be able to handle that sort of load very nicely. They're not cheap, but you do get what you pay for! Get 'em!

These batteries are by far the best rechargeables I have used to date. I purchased these for use in my Canon 550EX speedlight after hearing good things about the Eneloops. Right out of the package, without charging them, I was able to get a little over 400 flash cycles out of them over the span of 2 months (the final 100 were shot outside in 20 degree F weather). I have never been able to get that out of any other battery, lithium, alkaline or NIMH. I am sure these batteries will last even longer on a fresh charge. I would recommend these to anyone.

The 4HR-3UWX 4-AA rechargeable battery pack utilizes SANYO's Double X (XX) battery Powered by eneloop which provides 2500mAh of performance for long lasting, high power capacity, extreme applications. XX battery is a perfect choice for powering high current consuming devices such as photo strobe flash lights; providing more than twice the number of flashes per recharge in less than half the time as compared to conventional alkaline batteries! Wireless keyboards, mice, game controllers, radio controlled toys and a range of household devices can all realize extended performance when powered by XX batteries.
SANYO's engineers developed the XX batteries to excel in extreme conditions where high power performance in very low temperature environments (down to -4 degrees Fahrenheit) is needed. The new XX Nickel Metal Hydride batteries retain up to 75% of their capacity even after one year of storage. Unlike regular alkaline batteries which can only be used once and are wasteful to the environment, the XX batteries can be recharged up to 500 times. They come pre-charged and can be used immediately out of the pack. XX Powered by eneloop batteries deliver reliable, high power battery performance when and where you need it most!
