Shopper : How much time does it take you guys to set up this softbox on location?JIM T : Octabox's this small should only take about 3-5 minutes to put together. That's about how long it takes me. Five and Seven foot Octa's are another matter. If this will be your first time ever putting together a softbox then initially it will take you longer, but if you are familiar with them it should be short work.ARTHUR H : On the first occasion about 15 minutes. I purchased the quick ring and it takes about 3 minutes.MICHAEL G : The first time 20 minutes thereafter 10 minutes max

speedring

The speed ring with swivel SHOULD be the standard issue. I use this for on location shoots, and the swivel speedring is essential for me, but would be equally useful in studio use, Get with it Bowens! Eliminate the solid speedring altogether. It is a throwaway item! It's the only reason for the 4 stars. Bad engineering.
