Questions & Answers

George M : What else does one need to use this battery with gemini monolights - cables ?JOEL A LOPEZ S : Everything you need is included, the cable and some other accessories. The only matter is that the included cable is kid of short. A larger one is available also.ZACHARY H : You need the top part with the controls, you also need to make sure both ports have SOMETHING plugged in or it won't work. First thing I tried to plug in only one light and didn't realize the extra "piece" at the end of the cable also needed to be plugged in for the lights to work.
Shopper : How does a person recharge a disconnnected spare battery unit without the controller unit? What happens to the ability to regulate the charging rate: "fast/slow?" Can this unit be charged with a Metz charger of similar specs? They look almost identical, except the Metz charger unit outputs 17V @1300mA. All references to charging methods is missing from documentation.ANDREW R : I believe that you need a 12v charger available from Bowens ( http://www.adorama.com/BZ1227.html ).
GUSTAVO A : Hi the battery and the control panel sold separately? or its 194.90 for the control panel and the battery?NANCY C : That's just the control unit. You need to purchase battery separately. Works great! Very easy to use.
