Didn't work
The coupler was defective upon receipt. I threw it in the trash within minutes of opening the package. A waste of money.

Convient, small, very well made!
Saved having to rerun a 45 ft line, because of a short cat5 wire spool. Added an 8 ft scrap and got the job done.

Modular Inline Coupler did the trick
We have a Roku on each of our TVs, so we can view Netflix streaming videos. The last one to be connected needed additional Cat6 cable, but since it was run from the basement under our patio and into the house, we had no desire to try to run a longer cable. So, we used the coupler to add an additional Cat6 cable to connect our FiOS service to the Roku unit. Worked like a charm!

just what I needed
Was able to extend connection to my
lap top so I could use computer connection to
my 46" tv to watch football on ESPN3.

Worked Fine
I use this to couple a network cable to an extension cable so I can connect to my notebook pc. It seems to work fine...

Good selection of products.
It is hard to find couplers for Cat5 cables.
CablesToGo has these and a good selection
of ethernet cables in various colors and lengths.
My only question is why they do not make couplers
for Cat6 cables?

Cat5 Coupler Simple but Necessary
When I need to move my devices just a bit further than my Cat5 cable will reach, just like a telephone coupler, this simple Modular Inline Coupler does the trick, and has been a quick, reliable solution on a couple of occasions - like right now! This review is submitted with the coupler inline.
