I use the product to boost my VGA signal to a wide screen TV. The booster is not powerful enough to run a large screen TV approximately 20' from the computer and a 24" monitor approximately 15' from the computer. I am not very happy with this product.

Without this product our Projectors (three) will not function due to cable distance. We use three of these video amps. Two two port and one three port. Great video quality.

Works well with no ghosting or jitter. (I'm driving twin 40" stage displays for a church, with both outputs on 75' cables.) Small, lightweight, simple to use, straps nicely to a rack shelf without tying up a whole shelf. The female input port makes an input cable harder to find. A VGA extension cable will work, but you will have to remove the screw lugs from either the cable or the box and (obviously) would not be able to screw the cable down to lock the connection. Also, note that the unit will not run full HD (1920x1080) resolution (this is clearly indicated in the online specs). If driving widescreen (16x9 or 16x10 AR) displays, ensure that resolution choices on your displays below 1920x1080 are acceptable. We had to return two Vizio TVs because they had NO widescreen choices below 1920x1080, and accounting for the stretch to convert from a 4x3 AR to the TVs would have been unnecessarily kludgy.)

Made a big difference in the quality of the picture. We were adding 2 flat screens to the side wings of our auditorium. The picture was not what it should be so we put the splitter/amp in the line and the picture was great. Only negative was that even though the picture was great, this is the second amp in the system. The one at the source was not enough to handle the distance for more than one screen. Works better farther down line.

I use this in a classroom setting and it really powers up the signal. It feeds through an "ELMO" and the signal is great from the camera viewer and a large high def monitor. My only complaint is that they don't tell you a special VGA cable is needed; female on one end (for the box) and male on the other end.

This works great for multiple monitor setups.

We have used these units before and they work great. As long as you get the right cables you are good to go.

The splitter does exactly what I bought it for. Easy set up. One thing to watch for is the input VGA port is a male fitting so you need a female cable end w/the thumb screw. As i found out not a very popular item.

I have 2 of these. One is in a room with 2 video projectors facing different audiences watching identical content. 150' cable runs to each projector. This box creates a flawless picture on both projectors from a single video source. The second unit is in a large room where the projector was too distant for a good signal from a laptop source. The box amplifies the signal without causing distortion. 5 minute setup. No configuration needed.

I use the splitter so my employees can view their work schedule on a 37" TV monitor and my schedulers don't have them standing around looking over their shoulders while scheduling.

Distribute any video signal to 2 different video outputs, while maintaining vivid picture quality. Though powerful, the 2-Port UXGA Monitor Splitter/Extender is easy to use; just connect the cables. There is no software required, or complicated interface cards to install. This monitor splitter not only distributes, but also boosts your high resolution video signal up to 210 feet. It includes power-saving mode, color-coded connectors for the input and outputs, durable all-metal housing, power and activity LED indicators. Also suitable for XGA, SVGA, VGA and MultiSync resolution monitors. Daisy-chain multiple units together for even more outputs.
