Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Auto Focus Lens - Refurbished

The hype of the 100 macro is no hype. It is an excellent lens giving beautiful sharpness, smooth focusing (when you use it). I use it both for macro 1:1 distances, greater than 1:1 with ETs, and for non macro uses. The AF for non macro uses is not the fastest - but I never really expected that. I don't use the AF for macro - only MF. The lens is solid construction - feels really good in your hand. I bought it just before the IS L version came out - and while I am sure I could always use the IS - I don't really feel the need for it in most cases. I would recommend this lens wholeheartedly

even with the new 100L on the scene, this is still the "go-to" macro lens when you want the job done right. this is my 3rd canon refub from adorama and I have been pleased every time

I was a little leery of buying a refurbished lens at first. However, once I began using the lens, my apprehension gave way. So far, I absolutely love this lens and am looking forward to taking many more pictures with it in the near future.

First of all, all my lenses are Canon USA. I have never been disappointed with them. This is my first "refurbished by Canon USA" lens, and you would never know it was not new. It is sharp, easy to focus, and just what I needed for close-up photos. The price from Adorama was lower than most of the "used" lenses of that model, and I am glad I bought it.
