These are amazing for long distance stuff

I've had the 14x32 IS for over a year and love them. I've had the 15x50's for probably 8 years. And, I have also owned the Fujinon 14x marine grade IS binoculars. These Canon 14x32 are the best of all of them and are much improved over the older 15x50 model. I live on a bay and have a 2+ mile view. These are awesome and much lighter than the 15x50's. I use them daily. If you need the power these will be hard to beat.

Unbelievable Detail

I have used my Canon binoculars for a little over two months now. I agree with other reviewers that the eyecups should be reconsidered but if you roll down the eyecups there is no issue unless you need to wear glasses with the binoculars. With that said, I use the binoculars for birding and find that the details I now see due to stabilization far outweighs the eyecup issue. I have found bird identification has become much easier. I found that when I am tracking a bird in flight the normal IS setting works better than the powered IS setting. The powered IS setting is better for stationary objects. Overall these are the best binoculars I have ever owned and I am comparing them to high end birding binoculars.

Needs re-design of eye cups.

This is the 2nd IS Canon binoculars I've purchased. They deliver a good close-up of far away items, but need some changes. Firstly, the eye cups, if not rolled down, severely limit the field of vision to a very narrow range. In order to widen the field of vision, roll down the eye cups, and the view widens considerably. Secondly, I used the Power IS, and could not see any difference between it, and regular IS. I was looking for a WOW moment, and it never arrived. My first-gen Canon IS's are much easier to use with eye cups that don't hinder field of vision.Canon engineers need to re-design the eye cups. I would not have purchased this IS if I knew the eyecups hindered field of vision.

Bring the world closer with Canon's 14x32 IS binoculars, engineered with a high magnification ratio of 14x and advanced Lens Shift Image Stabilization. These binoculars are designed to deliver a steady, sharp, and bright view, making them perfect for capturing the intricate details of a bird in flight, the swift movements of a batter from the bleacher seats, or the delicate hands of a violinist in the midst of a performance.

Equipped with a Powered IS function, these binoculars significantly reduce camera shake, ensuring a consistently clear and detailed view of your subject. The image stabilization feature is particularly beneficial for outdoor activities like birdwatching or sports events, where the subject may be in motion or at a considerable distance.

The 14x32 IS binoculars are not just powerful, but also versatile and user-friendly. They feature an improved ergonomic design that makes them comfortable to use, even for extended periods. Lightweight and compact, these binoculars are easy to carry around, making them a reliable companion for all your outdoor adventures.

The Porro Prism design enhances the binoculars' performance in low light conditions, while the sleek black color adds a touch of sophistication. With these features, the Canon 14x32 IS binoculars are the perfect blend of functionality and style, designed to bring your viewing experience to a whole new level.

Canon IS Binocular Features

  • Borrowing technology from Canon's EF lenses, Lens Shift Image Stabilization maintains a steady view by incorporating a continually adjusting vibration gyro mechanism, moving the IS lens both vertically and horizontally.
  • Powered IS makes it easy to maintain a high-magnification view, especially in situations where body movement or strong shake might occur. Toggle between Powered IS and Normal IS to pick the ideal mode for the scene, whether your subject is still or in motion.
  • Through the miniaturization of the IS unit the binoculars provide an ergonomic and sturdy grip, allowing quick, intuitive access to the IS switch, focusing ring diopter and more, with ease.
  • For edge-to-edge sharpness, the 10x32 IS binoculars use a field flattening lens element. Countering the blurred effect typically rendered by the curvature of conventional lens elements, field flattener lenses help deliver a sharp, low-distortion image across the entire field of view.
  • To suppress color bias, lens flare and ghosting as well as render a sharp view with contrast, the 10x32 IS binoculars incorporate Super Spectra Coating on its lenses. This coating effectively suppresses reflected light across a wide range of wavelengths, resulting in high contrast, high definition and a clear viewing experience.
  • A notable reduction over previous models, the 14x32 IS binoculars feature a minimum focusing distance of 6.6 ft. (2m) ideal for viewing animals, flowers and other small objects from a short distance. Combined with the 14x magnification ratio, it's easy to see even the smallest details with the 14x32 IS binoculars.
