Raquel F : I'm confused Is this for where the thick small lens is? That's the one I'm missingMIke L : Yes. The large diameter lens is the end that attaches to the camera, it takes a "rear" cap to cover that. The small diameter lens is the end that connects to the lens, it points forward, so a "front" cap is required for that.LARRY B : The front cap for the Canon telextender is similar to the Canon body cap but it is a little bit taller (deeper) to allow for the protruding lens on the front of the telextender. The back cap for the Canon telextender is the same as the back cap for any canon EF/Ef-s lens.

Great Fit

Canon 1.4 ii extender cap doesn’t fit.

Sorry but this cap did not fit. The cap has plastic things that seem like they should lock under the metal mount but the cap won't go down that far. I push the cap as far as it will go and it just turns 360 degrees without catching.

A Must Have!

The front cap for the 1.4X tele-extender is set deeper than the body cap that comes with your camera, so they are not interchangeable. Should you misplace this cap to protect your extender you will have to leave it attached to one of your lenses which will accept it. Having gone through this experience I now have 3 of these caps, they will also fit your Canon EOS bodies as well.
