The bounce flash seems to be working properly, but I have only tried it a couple of time so far. No reason to think it won't be great. Adorama service was great. The bounce flash was back ordered awaiting a shipment from Canon.

Flash is great, works as advertised. MagMod bundle - not so much. The rubber that fits over the flash is real tight, took lots of tries just to get it on. Thought I might break the flash stretching it over the head. Finally got it on after about 10 minutes of fiddling and does work with accessories once on. But, once the MagMod is attached, the flash will not fit back in the case to store - so it must be removed - it's larger than it looks in the photo's. As long as it takes and as hard as it is to put on each time - I doubt I'll even bother very often - it is a pain! Would be 5 stars otherwise. I do recommend the flash, but not the MagMod.

I normally shoot Commercial projects but I've had times when I don't have time to setup a studio flash. I bought the 470EX-AI to fill a specific need and it hasn't disappointed me.

Shoot straight into subject indoors in P mode on Canon 6D using 2 flashes: old cheaper 270exii and this one 470ex-ai. The 270 one produced well exposed and correct white balance. The 470 one had all images underexposed and yellow cast. Had to apply corrections.

It's the first flash I have used that allows me to focus on the subject! The auto-bounce is phenomenal, as well as the high guide number. Keep up the great work!

I bought this flash as my first flash since I don’t do much portrait photography and wanted something quick and easy to use to capture some great portraits. I used this flash for my brother in laws college graduation and Air Force commissioning and all photos turned out wonderful. The AI Bounce functionality properly filled the frame with a proper amount of light with experience in flash photography. Also a great deal when I caught it on sale.

I've had the flash for about 3 weeks and really like it. The auto bounce feature is easy to use and does a good job of eliminating washed-out subjects and minimizing shadows. I have used it in full auto mode and have not had time to experiment with the advanced manual settings, but the flash so good in auto, there is probably little need to take it off of auto mode.

This was my first lighting purchase as I currently use the Canon 80D and the mirrorless R and from a beginner to intermediate perspective it far surpassed my expectations. The auto and the lighting bounce has improved my photos tenfold. Also the package it came with was very affordable given I never have to buy double A batteries, they recharge and the whole setup is a 10/10. I would highly recommend this speed lite to any canon user.
