Excellent Learning Lens
I've been reading the reviews on this lens, and I am stunned to find out that the biggest complaint is about the AF eventually breaking. Excellent low light lens
I've had my EF 50mm 1.4 lens for many years. My Canon 6D normally carries a 24-105 L series lens. The 50mm is used when I want to lighten my load or shoot photos indoors with natural light. Note that 1.2 and 1.4 lens opened to their widest apertures have a very narrow depth of field which, if focused properly, will provide the target in crisp focus and intentionally blur items in front or being the subject.
