Regards, IsaBella DavisKEITH C : I don't quite understand what you are asking. A 'refurbished' lens is one that was sold, returned, and sent back to Canon to refurbish it to like new condition. They generally have very low use when returned. I have had good luck buying refurbished equipment.STEVE R : Refurbished by Canon means it has gone back to Canon because something was not right the first time. They make sure everything is correct. An excellent way to save a few dollars and still get the quality. As good as a store demo unit.JOSHUA S : The BillMeLater info is done on BML's site and should be an option at checkout (I doubt the store itself has much to do with the information you give them)... and yes, if you've used them in the past, it's easy to use them again. When I bought this item, the only difference in this lens and a new one was the white box instead if the pretty non-refurb box, and the fact that it had a different warranty from Canon (although adorama lists it as a 1yr warranty now, I think it was 90 days when I bought mine in 2010). The lens I received was pristine and identical to a new item. No regrets from me, it's an awesome lens... One of my favorites.THOMAS L : I can't answer the Bill Me Later question, but as far as condition it will be just like new (including the box). I bought one and am very happy with it.

GET this lens! (Top Pro)

Okay first said my husband bought this for me because he thought he was getting a great deal on the $2900 version which I also now own. This lens is amazing!! The $2900 verion never gets into my kit most days. Perfect for portraits. It's sharp but "People sharp" has an amazing look to headshots.

Simple, No frills, Beautiful photography

Bought this new (from a different website about two months ago. I already had a 35mm, a 100mm, and a zoom lens, but THIS? This 85mm? Prefect! And you don't have to think about it too long because it is not $$$$. The price is so affordable that even if you only use it for a few weeks it's worth it! I use it for baby photos and pictures of kids eating, running, playing--this stuff could easily go in a magazine, and I'm not even a professional!

Great quality lens

I really love this lens and the bokeh. After using a 50 for almost 10 years it?s an adjustment remembering to stand further away than I?m used to. This is a high quality lens with great results! Overall I?m glad I switched from the 50, it?s more versatile.

Welcome to the world of Canon telephoto primes. Don't let the low price fool you - the only difference between this lens and professional L glass is the lack of weathersealing. Everything else is professional grade. Ring USM autofocus is faster than anything else on the market, period. Build quality is excellent and feels solid in your hands (it is in fact plastic but you'd be hard-pressed to tell without looking). Resolution is excellent.
