Multifunction shoe adapter

Cant give this the most honest review since I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. But it looks like it's good quality and matches the quality I expect from a Canon product. As for Adorama, they did a great job getting it out to me as soon as possible and just in time for my trip to Bosnia. Just hadn't had a need for it yet since I haven't done macro at all while here. Too many other things to distract me lol

Review of Canon Multi Function Shoe Adapter, Sort of

It works as designed and is well-built. However, I hope this is only a transition gadget and that very soon, third-party flash and accessory manufacturers like Flashpoint and Godox will introduce updated models that will directly fit into this new hot shoe design of Canon. I avoid having another gadget, especially a tiny one, that I may lose, forget or break before and during a shoot.

It works but...

This works great with the eos R3! Allows me to use my old on camera mics while keeping the new wireless connector on the R3 safe for future use!

Great tool to integrate old gear with the new eos R3!

Works as supposed to. Gives your R3 extra waterproofing when using external flash or trigger. Can just leave it on instead of the original rubber cover.
