I do occasional sound at indoor and out of doors events, the service died recently due to the virus. I use A&H gl2400 and Soundcraft Si Impact mixers. I use to use Crown Ma 3600 amps but they take too much juice if there isn’t a facility for distro hook up. I usually run JBJ sr4719 18’s and occasional jBL sr4715 15” cabs. I use two 4719’s at 2ohms on the left side of the cc4000 and the mids from two sr4732 cabs (2 ohms) on the right side. The horn drivers are ran on one side of a crown PT2 amp. I do outdoor concerts with this set up and do Rush tribute bands and the crest takes all the drums and bass with ease, I never had a shut down. To hear the setup, go to Overtime angels rush camp called “ratcon” 2014 and other years except for 2019 which got the mix directly from the mixer. I really like the Crest cc4000. When things pick up again I’ll be buying another cc4000 to expand the the explosive sound I already have, for even larger venues. Sorry, I don’t like powered speakers because if something happens to one you’re screwed where running separate amps leaves the option to change over to another amp. Charlie Fick

Bring your audio experience to new heights with the CC4000 4000W Audio Professional Stereo Amplifier. Engineered with tunnel-cooled heat sinks and variable-speed DC fans, this amplifier ensures superior efficiency even under challenging loads and power conditions.
In the tradition of Crest Audio, this robust amplifier is equipped with more power devices (16 per channel) than any other competitive amplifier in the market. Its switched-rail class H output stage and triple-compound design contribute to low distortion and excellent thermal stability.
Built on the powerful Pro 200 Series technology and featuring a linear power supply, the CC4000 is versatile and delivers high power output, making it perfect for running main systems, monitors, and subwoofers. Whether you're touring or installing it in a fixed location, this amplifier is designed to provide unsurpassed sonic performance and long-term reliability under extreme stress.
The CC4000 is renowned for its absolute sonic accuracy. It delivers solid and defined bass to the limits of audibility, with ample current reserves. Its wide-bandwidth output devices ensure detailed, transparent high-frequency response. Thanks to Crest's exclusive IGM circuit, the CC4000 can safely drive 2Ohms loads without compromising performance.
This professional stereo amplifier features a toroidal power transformer, magnetic circuit breaker on/off switch, and a mode selector switch for stereo, parallel, and bridged-mono operation. It comes with balanced female XLR, 1/4" TRS combi jacks inputs, and Speakon and five-way binding posts outputs.
The CC4000 is housed in a 16-gauge steel chassis with a cast aluminum front panel. It is cooled by dual, variable speed fans on CC 2800, CC 4000, and CC 5500 single fan on model CC 1800.
Designed for years of reliable, flawless operation under rigorous use, the CC4000 offers the sonic superiority and unsurpassed reliability for which Crest Audio is famous, while remaining surprisingly compact. Each assembly is pre-tested and the assembled CC receives a rigorous "hot room" burn-in before thorough final checkout on precision test equipment.
The CC4000 is equipped with Tourclass/Protection Circuits such as ACL (Active Clip Limiting) that prevents speaker damage by providing gentle gain reduction when the signal approaches the clipping threshold. IGM (Instantaneous Gain Modulation) monitors speaker loads to detect conditions that may overstress output devices. This allows safe operation into nominal 2Ohms speaker loads. AUTORAMP gradually increases gain to the attenuator level settings when the amplifier is turned on. This prevents abrupt turn-on level. Other protection features include: short circuit, DC voltage, comprehensive thermal management, and current in-rush turn-on/ off; transient sub-sonic input.
Experience the power and reliability of the CC4000 4000W Audio Professional Stereo Amplifier, and elevate your audio performance today.
