I bought this for the original CAD e100 that was made in the 90s, and it fits perfectly. The original shock mount is one of those big, spidery looking things, but you don't want or need that. (The picture that Adorama sent in the email about this review and that is showing in the corner of the review window is the old-school monstrosity. The product is actually the slim, nearly unnoticeable, current model. (See photos.) CAD was smart enough to make this fit all of the incarnations of e100, and it's great. You can't even tell there is a shock mount on the mic, and the rubber shock absorbers are a standard o-ring you can buy at any hardware store if you ever need to replace them. Adorama shipped it very quickly, and it's the real product—not some knock-off. One thing that was a bit of a disappointment is that I had it in my cart for $ but when it came time to buy it, it was $. Not a terrible price for a shock mount, but a bit over priced for this particular piece of kit. Overall, I'm very glad that Adorama had this relatively hard-to-find product, because the original CAD e100 that they made in the U.S. in the 90s is one of my all-time favorite mics for many purposes, especially voice over. Beat the Sennheiser MKH 416 by a long mile.
